This feels so real, especially where I’m at postpartum and now entering the daycare journey.

We share on these platforms because we’re looking for a sense of community, to feel seen, understood and a little less alone. Yet somehow, it’s often other women who make us second-guess sharing at all.

We’re made to feel guilty, silly or like we’re doing something wrong for simply being honest about our experience. And then we wonder why so many women stay quiet.

I know I’m not alone here, but being a working mum while raising a bubba is hard. We simply can’t do it all .. well, at least I can’t. 🩷

So, with a little hesitation, I’m sharing that I’ve made the decision to put my girl into daycare. This is just the reality of where I’m at in my motherhood journey right now.

She has two working parents who are trying to build something, not only for ourselves, but for her and her future one day. 🥹

I’ve been nervous to share this because I know people can have such strong opinions around daycare and motherhood. But I truly believe each to their own, every family, every mum and every situation is different.

I can already feel some of the judgement… but more than that, I can feel the warmth and support from so many other mums who just get it. 🩷

We’re all just doing our best for our babies, in whatever way works for our family.
