I am #homesick and home is 2002 🍂🍂😞😞 by @ellafromhr

Feeling homesick in 2002 was a unique kind of nostalgia. With no social media or instant messaging, I’d wait for emails or handwritten letters to feel connected to home. The hum of a dial-up modem was both a gateway and a limitation. Long-distance phone calls were a luxury, so you cherished every word. Home felt so far away, and all you had were printed photos, your favorite mixtape, and the hope that time would fly by until you could reunite.
