Numbers are stupid but to think that 100,000 people clicked follow is crazy. I started making videos a decade ago but judgement and bullying stopped me. Fast Forward to the clock app in 2022 and I fully committed. To hit the milestone I’ve had my eyes on for so long, whilst in my favourite place on the planet does feel EXTRA good. This isn’t just a hobby or a job to me- it’s my whole life. Everything I do and embody is for this magical journey. Social media is the best free tool in the f**king world. It’s completely changed my life. It’s given me insane opportunities, friendships, trips, and memories. To everyone on this app and on TikTok, thankyou so so much for following along. All I hope to do is inspire you to LIVEEEE your life. Truly be yourself, laugh, dance, try new things, travel, meet new people, embrace how magical life is!!!! I have been keeping some secrets… Let me take you back to last year After another very successful Monday of MET content I started thinking about next year. I saw a post from one of my favourite social media people Grace Andrews saying that I should probably be snatched up by a brand for the occasion (pinch me btw!!! I admire Grace so much) As 2026 rolled around I decided to take matters into my own hands and very much inspired by Harriet Fisher wanted to make my own dream come true and what felt like a very audacious thing to do to post and ask for it- it’s quite simple really- but I was so nervous to post that video and I was so happy at such a good response from you guys What I didn’t expect was for brand interest immediately, and I am absolutely delighted that I will now be in New York at the same time as Beyoncé to make my Met Gala Content If you’re new around here I’ll fill you in on a crucial piece of information that New York is my favourite place in the world and it’s my lifelong dream to live there so to be taken by a brand for the trip of a lifetime to experience the biggest fashion night of the year doesn’t even feel real I am absolutely rubbish at keeping secrets and have been bursting to tell you guys since the day I found out, WERE GOING TO NEW YORK!!!!! Thankyou Jamie for your countless hours put to making this happen, and to all the teams; marketing, pr, legal- SO many people came together, believed in my work and have said yes. And to you reading this, thankyou for being here, and please go after what you want in life!!! You have the ability to make your dreams into reality.
