⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS RELEASE DATE 10/31/2026 @ellaj.hodet This book is disturbing in the best possible way! 🖤🩸 Willow Heights is a small South Carolina settlement with around 200 residents. When a group of starving travelers arrives from Georgia, the townspeople welcome them warmly and offer food and shelter. Little do they know, these travelers are hiding far more than anyone could have imagined. Now, the rituals in this book! Between those, the paranoia, betrayal, and secrets, things get dark pretty quickly. And let's not forget the cannibalism. That might be a little hard for some readers to digest (yes, pun intended), but I felt like it added so much more to the story than just shock value or gore. There's a disturbing psychological side to everything that makes it even creepier. Something else I really enjoyed was how the authors remained true to the time period. The dialogue is written to reflect how people spoke in 1826, so keep that in mind when you start reading. I personally loved that they carried the historical feel throughout the whole story instead of making it just about the setting. It's little details like that I appreciate when reading historical horror. And I have to mention that this takes place in South Carolina! As someone who currently lives here, I love finding books set in my state. I swear, South Carolina doesn't get nearly enough attention in books. I haven't read the previous books in the Willow Heights Horror series, but after reading this one, I definitely plan to! I had no problem jumping into book three without reading the others first. Overall, I really enjoyed this one. It's dark, twisted, unsettling, and has just enough gore to make you question what the hell you just read. Definitely check your trigger warnings, especially when it comes to the cannibalism. This one won’t be for everyone, but if you enjoy disturbing horror with a historical twist, it's worth checking out! 🖤 #arcreview #bookstagram #addtotbr #booktok https://a.co/d/02JVlLRj by @ellaj.hodet

Pre-order today! https://a.co/d/06kemR2a The Founders’ Feast Book Three of the Willow Heights Horror Series 1826. Willow Heights. A group of starving travelers arrive. The town opens its doors. Food, shelter, and friendship. But something is wrong with the guests. Something hungry. Something the settlers never saw coming… or did they? Trust fractures. Strange rituals begin. And a secret buried so deep the town will never speak of it for 200 years. “Some traditions begin with gratitude. Others begin with blood.” by @ellaj.hodet
