made with fresh lemon and orange juices + zest, its so light and refreshing! serve it with a fresh vanilla bean whipped cream and it is just chefs kiss🤌🏼

tie-dye sugar cookies! ☮️✌️🌈

fun fact!
i’ve been using the same sugar cookie recipe for 20 years! it actually might even the first thing i ever made without parental supervision lol!!

it just doesn’t get better than the classic better homes and garden sugar cookie cutout recipe, with a vanilla powdered sugar icing. simple, classic, and oh-so reliable!

introducing @ellamadethecake 🎂💞💌

it’s an idea that started from my love of making my friends’ birthday cakes and hosting parties, and has become how i spend my 5-9 after my 9-5.

this is an ode to that — to a love of baking (imperfectly) and to learning.

it’s a love letter to the “roast chicken phase of life”, the figuring it out as we go, romanticizing, and bit of whimsy phase of life.

follow along for baking, hosting, and more of me doing my best to make ina garten proud❤️
