This is the kind of news that makes me incredibly hopeful about the future of skin cancer treatment.

A personalized mRNA treatment for melanoma has now succeeded in a Phase 3 clinical trial. It’s designed around the unique mutations in each patient’s own tumor, essentially teaching the immune system what to recognize and fight.

It is not yet FDA approved, but this is a remarkable step forward.

After spending my career looking at skin, this may be the most exciting news in skin I’ve shared ever.

We didn’t follow the exosome revolution. We created one.

This one is special to me. 🤍

Britton is one of our longtime OG clients, and while she has always had absolutely gorgeous skin, she’s also had a scar beside her mouth since she was a baby. One of those little pieces of your story that simply becomes part of your face.

Over time, we’ve treated her skin thoughtfully and gently. She’s had a few rounds of SKINVIVE by JUVÉDERM with Dr. Karen. Rather than adding volume or changing the shape of the face, tiny microdroplets of hyaluronic acid are placed within the skin to improve hydration and smoothness. We’ve continued building on that with microneedling + exosomes.

What has made us so happy is watching that childhood scar gradually soften.

This was never about changing Britton’s face. It was about improving the quality of already beautiful skin and seeing what small, intentional treatments can do over time.

This is after two Long Pulse YAG treatments, and we’re still not finished.

This area started as a broad cluster of superficial vessels, not one isolated vein, which is why the before photo looks more diffuse and almost bruised around the edges.

Long Pulse YAG targets hemoglobin inside the vessel, causing the treated vessel to break down so the body can gradually clear it over time. Some vascular areas need multiple treatments, especially when there are several vessels layered together.

Already lighter. Less concentrated. Still improving.
