When a Christian says they have "The Peace Of God, Which Surpasses All Human Understanding " Through Christ Jesus, it doesn't mean they have everything figured out. Rather, it means they have found peace in Jesus even in the midst of the process.As Scripture declares in Isaiah 43:2: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. In Episode 2 of The Ark, I discuss a topic that many Christian young people in our generation wrestle with: what it truly means to live boldly for the Gospel, both in public and in private.I believe that once we truly understand that living boldly for God isn’t as difficult, complicated, or intimidating as it may seem, it becomes a natural part of our daily walk with Christ. Yes, living for God may make some people uncomfortable, but we are never alone. We have the help of the Holy Spirit every step of the way.Most importantly, remember that Jesus Christ Himself lived boldly for God. He proclaimed the truth without compromise, and His life often made people uncomfortable. As we celebrate the Fourth of July, I’d like to share a thought. While this holiday is often marked by neighborhood cookouts, hot dogs, steaks on the grill, fireworks, and time with family and friends, its true significance reaches far beyond the festivities. The Fourth of July commemorates the birth of America’s independence—a reminder of the priceless gifts of liberty and freedom.As we take time to celebrate, may we also reflect on the foundation upon which true freedom stands. If our nation’s motto is, *”In God We Trust,’* then may those words be more than a slogan. May our independence remain firmly rooted in Christ Jesus, the source of true liberty, rather than in anything or anyone else.True freedom is not merely the absence of oppression; it is the presence of Christ.
