World Cup Morillon🇫🇷

Definitely not the race I was hoping for. 4 days of biking honestly felt like I forgot how to ride my bike the moment I got there 🫠

I crashed on the first stage and somehow couldn’t find my flow or feeling on the bike again.

Still had a lot of fun racing with the girls and I’m so happy I got to experience it!!💗🌞 taken in Morillon Grand Massif by @ellareuter_

Stoked to finish 2nd in Open Women at the EDR UCI World Cup in Loudenvielle!

During practice, I spent a lot of time at the technical assistance zone because my brakes weren’t working properly. Later, I also got a flat tire and missed the chance to practice Stage 5, which meant I had to race it blind.

Unfortunately, the bad luck continued on race day. Right at the top of Stage 1, I got another flat tire and had to ride the entire stage with it, losing a lot of time and dropping far back in the standings.

Luckily, I managed to fix everything in time and make it back to the next stage start. From there on, things finally came together. I had a really good race, managed to gain back a lot of time, and came back to P2.

It was so much fun racing in Loudenvielle and sharing the trails with all the other women. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and being part of such a great atmosphere.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped me with all the technical issues throughout the weekend. Your support made this result possible.
