This summer has been one like no other. 🤍

I honestly don’t think I’ll ever have the words to describe everything God has done, but getting to pursue the heart of Jesus through missions and sharing Him with others has been something I’ll never stop being amazed by. Then there’s 252. 🥹 Watching faith be transformed in the quiet moments on Monday nights and getting to be His hands and feet while serving every Sunday has been such a gift. One of the biggest blessings has been the friendships. Being surrounded by people who genuinely want to serve one another and grow more in love with Jesus every single day is something I don’t take for granted. I truly believe these are friendships that will last a lifetime. So thankful for this summer, for all that God has taught me, and for every person He placed in my life. “And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:15-16 🩷🩷🩷🩷 The mission doesn’t stop when summer does!! by @ellatarter13

THANK YOU JESUS!! 💘
This week has meant more to me than words will ever describe. Thank you Jesus for letting us be your hands and feet. The friendships will be everlasting. I’m in awe of the way God moves through others and what he does when you’re obedient. May we never stop living on mission!! There is a world we have to keep reaching!! obrigado rio!! 🤍

Today one of our pastors at church talked about sharing our faith. I’ve always really struggled with it I listened today and shrugged it off, but I keep feeling lead to share mine on here. So that’s what this is!

Some back story… Summer going into 7th grade I don’t think I realized it at the time, but I was searching for something to fulfill a void in my soul. I thought I had found something and it was taylor swift. I LOVED her. I had every t-shirt, poster, vinyl, and went to every concert I could. I idolized her. Summer going into 8th grade it was motion conference time! I was excited but expecting nothing. I was exhausted after pushing for friendships and other things! Empty is the best word to describe me. I remember the first session of the night a lady said “God will move in you. It could have been the first song tonight or it will be the last session on saturday.” I obviously didn’t think anything about it. Then that last session rolled around and I was sad because I had not had god move in me BUT, It was the last song of the last session and Brooke Ligertwood sang “King of Kings” the lyrics were “And the church of christ was born then the sprit lit the flame.” It broke me. I felt more JOY, LOVE, PEACE, AND SO SO FULFILLED!! It was GOD who I was searching for. 8th grade taught me about gods character and i’ve learned how to be in a relationship. He is the way, truth, and LIGHT!!!!!!! It’s not easy but it’s by far the best thing to ever happen to me! God has a PLAN and YOU have a purpose!!(something I try to live by!)
