LET US SCREAM
By Caia and I, in collaboration with dancers

Walking in the city November 6th 2024, the city wept. You felt the grief. You felt the heartbreak drenching the atmosphere. November 7th I became consumed by not a want, but a need to create. I ran to Caia, and somehow we now have this.

November 6th 2024 I heard the pain in my peers voices. I felt the tears. We were (are) angry. If you don’t use your voice you’ll lose it, and we needed to scream. We scream and we move because we can and we need to and we will never stop. This is only the beginning. This is political. This is social. This is human.

A thank you to the amazing dancers who volunteered their time to scream with us and for your voices. Thank you to our awesome film crew who made this vision come to life- Drew lighting, Spencer assisting, David on camera, and Mia for your incredible eye directing and hours spent editing and perfecting this. All of you volunteered your time and showed up with so much dedication, I could not be more grateful.

And to Caia, our collaboration is everything. This would not have happened without you and your wonderful mind.

I love you all dearly, let’s keep screaming.
Ella
