Playing alongside @jaedalove.pb for the first time was a great experience, and she was a great partner. We opened with a hard-fought and challenging match against fellow young PPA pros who are also our friends, followed by a match against the top seed that was a clear reminder of how high the ceiling is and how early we are in the journey.

Valuable lessons, perspective, and a lot of growth to take away from this week.

Thank you always to @volairpickleball and @acepickleballclub (coming soon to Plano) for another great tournament. taken in Palm Springs, California by @ellayehpb

Veolia Chicago Cup @ppatour: mixed with @yatesjohnson8 and women’s doubles with @akoop_pb , both first-time partners.
Mixed didn’t go our way in our first match, but there was a lot to take from it. In women’s, we opened with a win over a higher seed before losing to the 3rd seed. Matches like that show exactly where the ceiling is and what I need to keep working on.
Thank you both for figuring things out with someone new. And getting to visit The Bean with my mom made the trip even better 💜

My first PPA Asia tournament 🇲🇾

I’m pretty used to traveling for pickleball at this point, but 20+ hours of travel to Kuala Lumpur was BRUTAL. Still, getting the chance to compete overseas for the first time made every bit of it worth it.

In women’s doubles, @keipball and I started in the Round of 16 and opened with a win over a team that has had some really strong results in recent PPA Asia events. We ended up reaching the quarterfinals, but more than the result, I’m just really glad I got the chance to compete with Kei for the first time. She’s a great player and an even better teammate, and it was so much fun getting to know her more and hang out off the court too.

Mixed with @tomprotzek was another one I’ll remember. We won our first match in three games against a really tough team that I’ve watched from afar but had never actually been on the court with before. That one felt GOOD. We followed that up with a tough Round of 16 against the #1 seed, and there was a lot to take away from that match.

I also stepped back onto the singles court for the first time since March 2025 and played my first-ever main draw singles division. After that long away from singles, it honestly felt really good to be out there competing again.

This whole trip was such a special experience. Traveling across the world for my first international tournament, getting to experience Kuala Lumpur, competing against players I normally don’t get to see, and making memories both on and off the court — I’m incredibly grateful for all of it.

And having my grandpa there to watch me made this trip even more special. Getting to share an experience like this with him halfway across the world is something I’ll always remember.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this trip possible, and especially to my sponsors for continuing to support me and believe in my journey:

grand rapids challenger with @annesoph.pb and @matthewbarlow_17 first tournament with both of them but it honestly felt like we'd been playing together forever. the draws were stacked in both women's and mixed, and we fought our way to 4th in each. had so much fun with you guys and i'm really proud of how we played.

Atlanta PPA Challenger ➡️ PPA Nationals in NC
Kelly in women’s dubs both weekends, Indy in Atlanta mixed, Braden in NC. Hard draws across the board and three people I was glad to be on court with.
There’s always more I want out of myself, and somehow I leave every tournament wanting it even more. More growth, more work, more chances to compete. Back home for a day and then on my way to Malaysia 🤍

finally getting to this, a week late. seattle challenger — mixed with @braden.j23 and womens with @chloediskin, both first-time partners. thanks to both of you for figuring things out with someone you’d never played with. also got to stay with family we don’t see very often, which might’ve been the best part of the trip.
