Fashion has always been at the centre of my universe. It’s my form of self-expression, my art. It tells my story and gives strangers a glimpse of my personality before I even speak. Since I can remember, I’ve marked significant events by the outfit I was wearing. Clothes capture my memories, holding them in place as reminders of where I was, who I was with, and most importantly, how I felt.

In Egypt my outfits had their own journey too. Jewellery stacked from @cosmica.nic , thrifted pieces styled with intention, and looks that carried me from temples to villages to sailing the Nile with @anoushdahabiya

when did everyone get so serious FR?? 
what happened to having fun for the sake of having fun??? don’t get me wrong, we love a grind. we love a hustle. but one that supports trips to costa rica filled with tequila + surfing. the kind where we wear our smallest bikinis and dance on tables. sunbake with our girlfriends and solve world problems (aka whether we should get bangs again. NEVER EVER AGAIN). weekday dinner parties because life isn’t just for the weekend. more doing things for no reason other than f*ck it, sounds fun. 
WILD to think you can go through your whole life as a bystander. that should scare the shit out of you. your life is that. YOURS.
anyway, gonna go put on my smallest bikini and have fun.

don’t forget life is so sexy. beautiful. These photos almost didn’t exist. Twice. 
When @jersson_barboza_photos messages Friday afternoon and says, “I’ve got an idea. Sunset at Maderas, let’s go.” you go. 
What he forgot to mention was the 25 minute scramble across slippery rocks carrying a longboard. I show up, JUST in a bikini with my phone, AirPods and keys. No shoes. No bag. 
Meanwhile, Jersson was 4 kilometres away on another beach, directing me from rock to rock through my AirPods. We got there just in time for sunset. Then a cloud rolled in. No photo. Just a LONG walk back. 
So naturally we did it all again the next day. Shoes this time. And here we are.
You tell me if it was worth it.
