🏁🖤 PROPER 14 - SAT, OCT 17th - @sidestagewpg 🖤🏁

Summer vacay 2026 is officially ovahh and we’re so stoked to announce our pals @dose.productions will be bringing their incredible energy and selections all the way from Nelson, BC to YWG.

Hot off an impressive run of Western Canadian festivals & events, we can’t wait to see what kind of feral dance floor they conjure. ❤️‍🔥

With local baddie @drayluvsu and Proper resident @elle.fast on support, you know what’s up.

Limited earlybirdz $20 in advance. 🔗 in bio. Let’s dance! by @elle.fast

starting this saturday come join us from 7-11pm @passage.cafe for the first edition of a 3 part series highlighting a few of my (dray) favourite selectors in the city. In an environment to encourage deeper digs and to play tracks that don’t always make it to the clubs or raves💌🪽

warming up the night from 7-9 we have my absolute pisces princess @taira.moreno , if you’ve seen taira play before you know she is a force behind the decks. she plays with technical skills beyond her years and a true party girl spirit from all her nights spent on the dance floor.

closing from 9-11 is my dear sweet @elle.fast whose name is widely recognized here in wpg and all across canada. a true raver, a fierce dj, a @properywg event thrower, and my sweet friend. every elle fast set is a journey and her selections are soulful, moody and memorable, yet unconfined to one single genre. we are so lucky to have a baddie angel like her in our city.

so see u saturday for a cocktail & a dance xoxox

if you need something a little chiller and non-functional dance music-y in your life, i invite you to check out my latest offering for phase one radio’s annual summer resident series, which aired last thursday on CKUW 95.9 in winnipeg.

it’s been a busy summer and i wanted to put together something more downtempo that you can easily space out to, with some sub-120 cuts from my collection that don’t really get airtime outside of private listening.

thanks again to anthony for the invite back. full track list on soundcloud, link in bio.

thanks for listening <3 by @elle.fast

finally back to YWG, 11-hour sleep later, giant pile of laundry started. 🌀🌀🌀

to the people, organizers, artists, volunteers, and beautiful environs of @basscoastfest , you are consistently inspiring, cup-filling, surprising and magical every year. 💓💓💓

i had the best adventures there and back with my @properywg crew, complete with quick 12-hour jaunt into YYC involving random mau5burgers (IYKYK) and v nice hangs with the @versions.yyc lovelies.

wishing everyone a gentle reintegration and see y’all next time. 💖 by @elle.fast

the @properywg crew are sneaking one more partio in before we head to @basscoastfest !

@versions.yyc is one of my favourite places to play — good people, good vibes, and the dance floor is always up to get a little weird. <3 so stoked to be invited back to be a part of season 13 ✨

hope to see some YYC pals on the dance floor! xx by @elle.fast

a bit delayed, but omfg @memetic_meme 2026. the music. the artists. the weather. the warehouse. 🫠💓

it’s been a hefty amount of life stuff this year and i needed a bit of a primal scream-communion with the universe/dance floor.

thank you for sharing your fucking unhinged energy on friday. that set was probably the most “me” i’ve gotten to play in this city, and it felt really great to unleash.

also, apologies that i didn’t get a chance to properly chat with a lot of you. i medically injured my voice a few months ago and it was a struggle to be in a loud space where all you want to do is have a good yap with people you barely/rarely see. after a vow of relative silence, some strong steroids and lots of tea, it’s finally on the mend this week.

huge thanks to @nathan.zahn & @kelly.zahn_ and the MEMETIC crew/VJs/volunteers for persevering this year, your continuing commitment to free programming at the cube, and showcasing our city and building new connections with pals across canada. can’t wait for next year.💖

next up we got elle fast b2b dray ❤️‍🔥💋⚡️

between both artists there is little concern for genres and a shared love of story telling through music. which feels like the perfect way to round off the night.
elle fast, a force in the scene, is known for her sets weaving through assorted shades and eras of house, techno, experimental, and breakbeat, often held together by a thick bassline and/or generous helping of machine funk.
dray shares a similar love for techno, breaks and house paired with cunty vocals and anything unusual to keep you moving and feeling on the dance floor all night long.

we can’t wait to see what this cutie duo cooks up for us <3 come early, dance lateeee see you next week
