I was recently requested to cover a Jennifer Hudson song or performance. As you might already know, she has been one of the singers I really admire because of her voice and story. When I watched her performance at her Oprah Winfrey Tribute, I couldn't resist getting my hands on this song: 𝕀 𝔸𝕄 ℍ𝔼ℝ𝔼 𝔹𝕐 𝕋ℍ𝔼 ℂ𝕆𝕃𝕆𝕌ℝ ℙ𝕌ℝℙ𝕃𝔼 𝕄𝕌𝕊𝕀ℂ𝔸𝕃

I tried something different and I added a choir with my vocals to bring a gospel vibe and create dynamics.

This is Elle. She used to be a dancer. Until one day…she could barely walk.

She had been dancing since she was three.

🩰 It started with ballet. Then slowly…it became everything.
Contemporary, Jazz, Hip hop, Latin, Heels.

🎶 She spent hours watching Michael Jackson…replaying every move, again and again.
It felt addictive. Like something she couldn’t stop.

Something she didn’t fully understand. Because back then…she didn’t realise how much she needed dance.

Until 2020. When everything changed. After Covid…inflammation in her knees made even walking difficult.
Not dancing, but walking.

And just like that…everything stopped. The classes. The training. The performances.
Gone. And it was one of the hardest things she had faced.

Because when something has always been there…you don’t expect to lose it.

And it made her wonder…
