Pieces of the big wall pop-up book I showed during my final crit a few weeks ago 🌀 made with little me in mind who thrived in a world of make-believe and who loved pop-up books, as well as for those who are intrigued by the nonsensical, excited by the absurd & unreal, and who keep magic alive in their lives no matter how old they get :)

The scenes were constructed from three unique contact sheets made last fall when I was only shooting 35mm - I couldn’t find the negatives so I worked with scans of the contact sheets. The resulting images are imperfect and kind of gross and scratchy and show marks of the handmade process but it’s okay because I had so much fun making this!! Thank you to my sweet friends for indulging in this silliness with me and helping these stories come to life I cannot wait to keep making these
