Galápagos🦭: like stepping back in time to a better world. A place where life is simple and the animals rule. Where if a sealion wants your seat, or the seat next to you, you’re going to have to shift. Where wildlife & humans live side by side, where animals are curious, playful and have no fear because they know these humans don’t hurt them. And… a place where you can get a decent B&B room for £20 per night… so if it’s on your bucket list, maybe don’t write it off for being too expensive just yet👀 remember life is short, do things. From swimming with penguins, eagle rays & scalloped Hammerheads as well as 3 other types of shark (some that made me twitch more than others) to sunbathing with sealions, I eventually managed to tick every single animal I wanted to see off my list. Grateful to have had the opportunity to come here, for having the balls to actually do it, and grateful to all the fabulous locals, naturalist tour guides (with passion Sir Attenborough would be proud of) & other solo travellers I met who made it a trip I will truly remember for the rest of my life🥹 Now, must be time to start planning the next trip to stress my mum out with🤭… taken in Islas Galápagos, Ecuador. by @ellenafarrow14

Back to school tonight, 200 miles south & 15 years after leaving, to see if us old girls could give the 1st team a run for their money. We gave it a good go for a group who’d never played together before and some who hadn’t held a stick for many years! (We’d have been even closer if some donkey hadn’t fluffed a flick like she’d never seen a hockey ball in her life🤣) Thanks @meelair for organising, it was great fun and will be even better when we win next year… by @ellenafarrow14

Impulsively entered a half marathon, didn’t train, decided I’d probably defer. Didn’t defer… Rocked up with my bag of drumstick squashies & ran what I’d consider a very respectable time. However I did get overtaken by a dinosaur and a man juggling the whole route so the jury’s out on that one 😂 Happy Sunday (not for my legs) by @ellenafarrow14

Grew up together down south on the same team from under 12’s, 10 years after we last played together, reunited to play against each other 200 miles from where we grew up 😆💞 (luckily neither of us has aged at all👀) @its_sunny @chippenhamhockeyclub by @ellenafarrow14

I’ve actually outdone my unsociable self here 🤣 “I want a few days away from the world”. Proceed to cottage 9 miles down a single track road on the west coast of Scotland. Even the nearest small shop is a 45 minute drive away & the sound of silence is perfection⛰️ (and Jax is v happy) taken in Glenelg, Highland by @ellenafarrow14

“Do you think you could make some sage green cupcakes for the baby shower or would it tip you over the edge?”
It’ll tip me over the edge but I’ll do it anyway🤣 (plus an extra special one for my fave small human)
