You don’t have to choose which version of yourself is the real one.
I am learning that I can exist in layers.
There is the blur of the past, and the sharp focus of the present, happening all at once.
Lately, I am practicing being the observer of my own mind.
Instead of trying to force the background to be still, I am just giving myself a clear window to look through.
It’s a double exposure of who I was, and who I am becoming.
I used to think I had to untangle all of this to understand myself.
Now I am seeing that the depth is the whole point.
I am realizing that when you stop judging the chaos, it stops being overwhelming.
It just becomes your atmosphere. taken in New York City, USA by @ellenartauteur

There is a strange loop in running constantly just to catch a quiet inner feeling.
But it’s works totally the opposite way. The moment I slow my pace, the surface rush dissolves, opening into a quiet love for a moment that needs no rushing.
This is where I finally catch my own wave and balance on the ridge of it.
It is the awakening of my inner anchor a quiet weight that keeps the storm from sweeping me away, gently rewriting the entire rhythm of the world around me.
Out of this stillness, everything align, uncovering my true pearl.
When I hold steady in my own depth, nothing meant for me can ever drift past.
The tide will naturally carry to my shores exactly what belongs to my world. taken in New York, New York by @ellenartauteur

Everything looks different when you stop trying to make it perfect.

For a long time, I thought “good” meant flawless.
I polished every edge until I realized I was polishing away the most human parts of the work-and myself.
But the moment I stopped trying to control the outcome, I finally started to see the soul of it.
I’ve been searching for new ways to translate my inner world into something visual, and | want to share that raw journey here.
This my art diary a space for the messy, unfiltered truth of who I am becoming.
I am currently in a season of deconstruction.
It’s that liminal phase where you have to disassemble who you were to make space for who you are becoming.
It feels like internal static.
It feels like existing in two places at once.
I’m learning that you have to be willing to feel fragmented before before you can find a truer rhythm.
This isn’t broken.. it is a necessary reconstruction.

I’d love to know if you’ve ever felt this shift? taken in New York City, USA by @ellenartauteur

Lately, every day feels like a profound shift.
A new feeling, a new way of thinking, a new layer of meaning unfolding every time I look inward. But with this constant metamorphosis comes a lot of noise. I’ve been feeling like a sailor caught in a storm, trying to navigate winds blowing from a hundred different directions. The hardest part isn't even the storm itself it's the pressure of the gaze.
The stress of realizing the eyes watching me aren't the world's, but my own.
It is the exhaustion of watching myself try to be a captain when I am still just learning how to rig my own sails.
This piece is the visual static of that vertigo.
The overlapping eyes of my own hyper-awareness, the distractions, the mental noise that drowns out the quiet.

I am searching for that one current that feels fresh, the one that leads to calm water where I can finally just navigate with ease and not look back.
Until I find it, I am just documenting the weather inside my head. by @ellenartauteur

You were never meant to fit perfectly inside a single frame.

I am finally seeing how much energy it takes to hold yourself in one perfect, solid frame.
When you stop fighting the blur, you realize you were a rhythm all along.
And the color comes back.
I am allowing myself to extend through the art of just being.
Present, then absent.
Sharp, then soft.
A collection of moments and afterimages playing all at once.
I used to see this as a fractured reflection.
Now I am accepting it as a melody.
I am figuring out that I don’t have to “fix” the breaks.
I just need to feel the tempo between them. taken in New York City, USA by @ellenartauteur

To be whole is to fall gently in love with your own intimate depths.
For a long time, the most tender, deeply feeling parts of my mind were kept inverted ,suspended in the quiet, a secret only I knew how to hold.
This piece is my surrender to their beauty.
It is the slow exhale of drawing my most private truths into the light.
A deliberate unmasking to feel the absolute, beautiful rush of every emotion I carry.
No longer waiting in the shadows.
Just letting the quiet, breathtaking reality of who I am finally soften, open, and bloom ♥️ taken in New York, New York by @ellenartauteur
