We spent an hour and a half in line today to see the “herd” at the Kalahari site in Virginia. We had a great time visiting with the couple in front of us. I also chatted with the facilities manager, who was delightful to talk to. by @ellenchenoweth

The Monks “Walking for Peace”
just came by our community on Route 1. What I saw in the crowd waiting for them to come by was,
not Democrats or Republicans, but people honoring the Peacemakers. Shoulder to shoulder they stood to pay tribute to the Walkers. May it be a reminder of why we are here. by @ellenchenoweth

So proud of my daughter in law, April Chenoweth.
Today she was given the “Daisy award” at Reston Hospital for outstanding nursing care. She was nominated by a daughter of one of her patients, and letter describes the care that April gave to the family as well as the patient. It was so special. by @ellenchenoweth

On this beautiful day in Quantico, we had the privilege of seeing our grandson become a 2nd Lieutenant USMC. David had the honor of pinning on his bars, along side April while John gave him his first salute. by @ellenchenoweth

What a month this has been for us. 3 weeks ago we welcomed Grandson #2. David Richard Crowley to Kim & Chris. And today, Grandson #1 took the Oath of Office after officially submitting an application to the USMC Officer Program. We were honored to be there watching him take the first step to becoming part of the military, following his father, grandfather and great grandfather in serving our country. by @ellenchenoweth

We drove up to Rochester, NY to the KOA. This was the welcome gift. We had heavy overcast for the eclipse, but we enjoyed the gift. by @ellenchenoweth
