WE HAVE SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE!

We are beyond excited to share that The Vault Creative has been named one of House Beautiful’s Best Home Stores in America 2026!

Even more exciting, House Beautiful named The Vault their “Emerging Icon” and wrote that “collecting is treated like a creative pursuit” here in Highland Park. We couldn’t love that description more.

What started as an idea between the two of us has grown into a space we are incredibly proud of — a collected mix of vintage finds, emerging artists, and pieces we love, all brought together under one roof.

To our incredible community, artists, designers, vendors, family, friends, and everyone who has walked through our doors and supported us along the way — thank you. We couldn’t be more grateful.

And a huge thank you to @housebeautiful and @alongobucco for this incredible honor and for including us among such an amazing group of shops from across the country.

Xx

For this episode of From Heel to Home, @melissacarter.tv and @ellenozmun explore the art of curating vs. collecting and why intention is what transforms the things we love into a story that feels uniquely our own.

Our first Salon Series gathering, Art at Home, brought together an incredible group of women for an evening centered around creativity, conversation, and the ways art shapes the feeling of a home.

Joined by art advisor Lauren Laughlin of @sundaysartadvisory , @ellenozmun , founder and creative genius behind the @thevaultcreative , and artist @christinerichman , the conversation explored everything from collecting art thoughtfully to living with pieces that create meaning and connection within a space.

It was intimate, inspiring, and exactly the kind of evening we envisioned when creating this series...a chance to gather, connect, and talk about the things that make a home and life feel more beautiful.

A special thank you to @nicolepetsoscreative for the beautiful florals and dining room styling that helped bring the evening to life.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a special evening...we’re already looking forward to the next one.

Come take a look around. Every corner of The Vault holds something you didn’t know you needed — a lamp with the right amount of glow, a piece of art that stops you mid-sentence, a vase that makes a whole room make sense. This is where we spend our days. We think you’d like it here.
