Happy would have been 64th Birthday Dad.

It wasn’t just another day without you, it was heavier on the heart and harder to get through. We spent it together as a family the same way we would have if you were still here. A nice meal at the farm (mom made all your favorite foods) and a creemee to follow, just missing you here earth side with us.

Losing my dad has changed me, my life feels different now. It’s such a personal loss and I struggle at times to know what to share and what not to. In his honor I’d like to let the world know that I wouldn’t be half the athlete or human I am without him. my Dad was an amazing dad…the best. (And I’d choose him over again a million times even knowing our time was so short)

He believed in me and my siblings, he was proud of all three of us, encouraged us and supported us through everything. Growing up on the farm with him has been one of the biggest blessings of my life. He always told me I was a strong girl, and I wanted and became a strong girl both on and off the track because of him.

If you are the parent of young kids I hope you can take a page out his book. Encourage your kids, believe in them, support them and love them unconditionally, they will be better for it, just like I was because I had my dad by @elleruns_4_her_life

Family means everything to me.

There is no easy way to say this, we recently received some devastating news about my dad’s health. The doctors told us we do not have much time left with him. It’s been very difficult for my family to say the least. We so appreciate everyone that has reached out and or brought food to us, we are glad he can be home now and are working to make sure he is the most comfortable he can be. We are so grateful for the conversations we have been having with our dad in the past week. We love our dad more than any words can express and will be right by his side saying it every single day until we can’t.

I would encourage anyone else to do the same. Tell the people you love that you love them, and the only thing more important than saying it is doing it. Nothing can ever take your love away. Now is the most important time to do it because it is the only time we are promised.

I believe in the power of prayer and ask anyone who is willing to pray for him. Pray for time and comfort and peace.

It was a nostalgic night, being back at the BU Valentine meet reminds me of many weekends in college. So many familiar faces and so many new ones. I truly had a blast getting to meet and see all of the college kids race their hearts out.

I wanted a little more out of that last lap, but all said and done I am happy with a 4:17 mile! Thank you to my amazing pacer and teammate @katemitchell18 you are the best! Thank you @buathletics for a great event. And it was a solid weekend of racing for the rest of the crew @little_nobes @shannon_flockhart_ @margotappleton @allexmillard 🔥

I’m headed back home to VT to give my 3 Valentine boys a kiss before the night is over. Feeling so blessed and so thankful! 😘

This is what pursuing your athletic dreams while expanding your family looks like

This is what staying true to you looks like

This is what hard work and perseverance looks like

This is what having unwavering belief that it will all be worth it…looks like.

This is what a SUPPORTED WOMAN looks like.

This was my first track race since my second baby was born and it meant a little more than usual! I’m proud and thankful! Thankful for the support and the strides we have all made for the moms in sport. I’m thankful for the trailblazers of women and moms before me and honored to hold the baton for a little while, feeling so privileged and yet still so determined to hand it off in a better place than I received!

She’s BA-A-ACK 😈

2024 World Indoor champ @elleruns_4_her_life returns to the track for the first time since giving birth to her second son in fantastic form, battling back and forth with @linden.hall over 3000m at the NB Indoor Grand Prix and coming out with the victory in 8:26.54.

St. Pierre, the American record holder over 3000m, now has three of the five fastest U.S. marks indoors of all time.
