Hallow’s Eve Greetings by @little.robin.designs // 36ct PTP legacy // GA Espresso thread // I’m all about the pockets/bags lately but this turned out so fun!! I used @wanda.m79 advice and slowed down, measured twice and things went much better. So much better that I gave the binding a try… and look it worked out!! Finished BBD May Basket on 36ct Lakeside Vintage Porcelain using CC Licorice Red. And next up September’s project is a WIP I started in 2022 I think. The border is done and has a good start going…. Finished this one right before the prairie schooler, this is The Reverend Squashbottom by @notforgottenfarm I’ve wanted to stitch this one for a long time, the car gave me a run for hills but after that it was smooth sailing. This DMC palette is really pretty, stitched on 36ct but I can’t remember the name. I’ll add if I think of it. #notforgottenfarm by @ellesnaps

Finished! Actually finished it last weekend but finally getting around to posting it. 40ct Sleeping Bear by Needle and Flax with the called for DMC. Now to pick out another #prairieschooler to start. Maybe a Halloween one or the Christmas version of this one… any suggestions. by @ellesnaps

Stitching time with friends, just what the heart needed! @boxcarquilts is always the best ❤️! We visited @hoopsandneedles25 too ❤️! The girls had a quilt parade but somehow I missed @sewjo’s stocking quilt, loved it!! I brought Zeke 🍁 to ffo but didn’t get to it and @carolinagirl28371 brought her 46ct over one Lily and Maggie Mae, soooo cute!! ❤️@stacynashdesigns taken in Box Car Quilts by @ellesnaps

I had planned to participate in a Christmas in July exchange, so I stitched @notforgottenfarm Good cheer (36ct sleeping bear by needle and flax, called for threads), but finishing went off the rails fast. It’s a story but the bottom line is my sewing machine decided to eat some of the edges and I decided to get very frustrated… it was a bad combo which resulted in a wonky looking pocket with no strap yet…because why? at that point. I took it and showed @wanda.m79 and @sew_just_beecuzz , they told me it could be saved. Wanda handed me a seam ripper and you know I did what I was told! 🤣 Wanda showed me all the things to do to straighten it out, she sewed and showed and I listened. In the end it turned out much better. I’m very grateful to her, she’s very talented and a generous teacher! Next up zippers!! Until then I will make a ribbon strap for this pocket to keep here at home. A month or so ago I stitched a @primrosecottagestitches round over one on lugana and put it in this little wooden ornament from Amazon. It’s a gift for sweet @michelle.burt I borrowed the little ribbon and a magnet for the back from @sewtattered , thanks Katie ❤️ She says she loves it and I have plans for more. The last photo I borrowed so I could show how talented the ladies I spent the weekend with are. I inspired the entire time. I’m very grateful for my sweet friends. Bird and Bee Pyn Pillow by #chessieandme I finished this in 2023, it was a great stitch, I loved the alphabet and those golden yellow flowers. I got it from @farmgirldrygoods Thanks Michelle! 💛🐝 Finished with Moss ricrac and a piece of Henry Glass fabric. #crossstitch #crossstitchffo by @ellesnaps
