How is it our 1 year anniversary down under already? 🤯

I remember boarding that flight like it was yesterday…. excitement, anticipation, sadness from leaving family and friends, nerves, thrill, butterflies 🦋

We packed up our whole life & moved to a country we’d never been to

We had this gut feeling we belonged elsewhere

We had this magnetic pull towards the Gold Coast

We had a dream and we dived straight in

We have zero regrets.

Australia has exceeded our expectations

We’ve achieved so much in 1 year 👏🏼 we’ve literally started from scratch…. new home, new cars, new jobs, new lifestyle, new friends

I’ve learnt a lot about myself this year & I am a lot braver, stronger, courageous and more independent then I thought ✨

I always spend my birthday reflecting on the last year and setting goals for the new year ahead ❤️

My biggest achievement is always my marriage ✨ I’m so lucky to be married to the most wholesome and caring man 🥺 blessed with the absolute best!

Ellevate line dancing has been my 2nd biggest achievement this year! A risk that was so worth taking and I’m honestly loving every minute of this journey 🤠 I feel like I’ve truly found my calling!

I actually went into this birthday slightly unwell and spent today at the doctors 🙈 but I always make a positive out of a negative and now i’m on the mend ❤️‍🩹

Here’s to another healthy, happy and positive year ahead 🥰 thank you to everyone who’s messaged! I appreciate it a lot ❣️

5 years ago we drove 6 hours to wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 to collect Ziggi! The cutest puppy EVER 😭

It’s crazy to think we had no idea then what impact he’d have on our lives & now he’s living his best life in Australia with us 🐶✨ we love you so much pup pup!

GC Marathon 26 🎀🌸🩰 @goldcoastmarathon

With matching Tutu’s & matching determination - we Completed it!! 🥹🥇

Yeehawwww! We boot scooted our way to that finish line!! 🤠✨ raising $4,702 between us for the incredible charity @babygiveback

London Marathon 2019 = 5:43
GC Marathon 2026 = 5:03

(Although technically my watch said 4:59 - so do I claim that as a sub 5? 👀 🙊)

Finishing hand in hand with Taya was a moment I’ll never forget 😭 that superwoman has been the best running partner I could ask for & pulled me through every step ✨ she was my cheerleader through out training and race day and I cannot thank her enough!

And where do I even begin with my supporters/donators 😭 every single penny raised for BGB has helped hundreds of children and I cannot thank everybody who donated enough! 🥺

Thank you SO much to everyone who wished us goodluck and cheered us on! Those messages are huge power ups and make such a difference ✨

I will never be able to put into words just how much I love you. It’s a feeling that’s impossible to describe.

I read a lot of books but our story is by far my favourite ❤️

I hear stories of people who grow apart after being together for so long but thankfully I cannot relate… there is not a day that I do not want to spend with you & I genuinely mean that.

I am more obsessed with you now than I was at 14 (& I was pretty obsessed back then 😆 rushing home from school so I could get on MSN to speak to you)
