POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s been a minute Instagram! (6 months to be exact 🙈), but I’m alive and still thriving!

It’s been a crazy last few months/year, and I’ll share more on that later.

I just wanted to pop back on here and reintroduce myself!

How have YOU been?! I miss you all and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been up to and what I’ve got in store for this year ☺️

A year ago today, my life changed in an instant. 🥹

I took a little test before heading off to work, and found out mid-project that I was pregnant! Little did I know that I’d be working on my last big build for a while, but I knew instantly it was time to hang my tools up and put all my energy into creating her 💖

As a kid, when someone would ask “what do you want to be when you grow up?” - I remember answering “an artist or a stay at home mom”. I’m beyond grateful to have had the past 17+ years fulfilling one dream, but I’ve made the switch to pursue the other.

Sweet baby Miller joined us in January, and no words can even begin to describe my love for her, my family, my new found purpose, and the excitement I have for our future.

I go into this weekend celebrating my first official Mother’s Day while also reminiscing on how much everything for me has changed this past year. I’m so honored to be this little girl’s mom, and I’m so thankful to have the privilege of being home with her 🥰💛 by @ellewoodsco

TONIGHT at 7pm!!!

My Sign “Retirement” Sale is still going strong, and I have so many unseen pieces that will be hitting my instagram stories/etsy shop very soon! 🥰

The majority of them are TRAYS - they are a labor of love and created from scraps from all my cabinet builds this last year. I have a small selection of them, so if you have your heart set on one - make sure to set a reminder on your phone now!

I still have a decent amount of other original rounds still available on my Etsy shop, and they are all at least 15% off! Let’s clear out my inventory so I can officially move out of my office this summer 🙌🏻 taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @ellewoodsco

It’s bittersweet to say, and I’ve been thinking long and hard about it for nearly a year now … It’s time to retire my Elle Woods originals. 🥲😭

My business has evolved and I’m focusing more on cabinetry than art. I’m beyond thankful for this journey, and if it wasn’t for my love for my art I would have never taken the path I’m on today. Thank you to each and every one of you who has supported me along the way!!! And a huge shout out to everyone has stuck around after my transition into bigger builds 🥰

With that all that said, I’ve taken my Etsy shop off of vacation mode in hopes of clearing out the rest of my inventory. I’ll be updating and adding more within the next few weeks of odds and ends I have laying around.

If you were ever wanting an Elle Woods sign, now may be your last chance at snagging one. 🥹 by @ellewoodsco

Pink office built ins are 😍😍😍

I had so much fun building this for one of the sweetest families I’ve worked with so far! Complete with the perfect filing drawer, adjustable shelves, and dreamy hardware 💖

I’m officially booking out for April, so if you’re looking to add some extra storage, creating a more functioning space, or needing to update a room - I’d love to get the conversation started! taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @ellewoodsco

I finished up TWO projects last week, and another furniture piece this week!

This set of twin built ins were finish up last Monday! And they even let me decorate them with items they had laying around their home 🥰🥰🥰
Swipe to the end to see the before!

I’ll be sharing the second project, a wall-to-wall - floor-to-ceiling office build, here soon! And I can’t wait to show you the desk I made for my husband this week. taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @ellewoodsco

New Tool Alert! If you’re in the cabinet/built ins/furniture building business where you make countless of pocket holes per project - GET THIS DRILL PRESS!

No more constantly switching drills and drill bits. No more cramping hands from clamping the basic kreg jig over and over and over. And who doesn’t want to shave hours off your projects?!

Yeah, it may be kinda pricey. And yes, it may be another bulky tool to add to your collection. But holy crap, is it worth it!!!

PS: this is not sponsored - I just love this tool so much already taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @ellewoodsco

The reaction from the little ole lady cashiers at Home Depot never gets old. 🤣 Every time they ask “what are you making?” or “what *little* project are you working on?” and I respond with “Built ins for a client”, I get a mix of a disbelief, surprise, and respect. 🤔🤯👏🏻

My favorite was when another customer, a woman likely in her late 50’s, found me in the parking lot while I was loading plywood to cheer me on and tell me she’s been a woodworker for the past 30 years. We were both hyping each other up, and applauding one another for crushing it in a male dominate field. 👏🏻🙌🏻💪🏻

It may be freezing outside, but I’m powering through with the first project of the year!

If you’re interested in new built ins, custom furniture, or anything in between - don’t hesitate to reach out! It’s always best to send me an email with all the details (pictures of your space, rough dimensions, what you’d like to gain from your project, inspiration pictures, price range, ideal timeline, etc). The more info the better! We can schedule an in person consultation, and get you on the calendar for 2025 🤗

I thrive on creating functional, organized, and beautiful pieces to make your house feel more like a home! I can’t wait to see what kind of projects you’ve been dreaming about ☺️ taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @ellewoodsco

Social media man … it’s forever changing, and will always be another full time job in itself. But I’m forever grateful for this platform!

But between my tunnel vision on projects, my adhd, and introvertedness - I forget to share more with you. I’m almost always working, but rarely showing up here.

But I’m going to hold myself accountable this year, and make sure to be here … for you, for myself, and for my business! I’m a one woman show, but I’m no longer going to let that hold me back from being present.

Even if it’s just a video of me putting on my big girl pants on in my freezing garage 🤣🥶 taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @ellewoodsco

2024, THANK YOU! This past year has been filled with so much growth, great memories, amazing trips, countless of projects, close friends and family, and it sets the bar high for 2025

The 1st project of this year is already wrapping up and I’ll be opening my calendar soon for new projects!

I’ve failed miserably to keep up with emails in the last two months, so if you’ve reached out recently I’m so sorry! I’ll be going through those this week and getting back to as many of you as possible. taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @ellewoodsco
