I guess I have to start with a little confession…
I actually kinda forgot that I’m releasing an album today. 🫠
I honestly hate promoting myself, but I know it has to be done – especially when it’s something I’m really proud of!

ANYWAY: I’ve officially released a whole album today!! 💚

These songs were written during my gap year between high school and university. It was supposed to be an EP at first, but when I brought the project to Espen, we quickly realized it had the potential to become a whole little album. 😇
The record is about distorted relationships and the feeling of losing control. About anger, guilt, denial – and finally letting go. This project is actually a big part of the reason I kept going with music. It taught me that those forced songwriting processes that seem to be “the standard” for everything just doesn’t work for me – but it doesn’t mean that I’m a bad songwriter.
I’ve truly enjoyed writing these 8 songs, and because of that, I now know which values I want to carry with me further into the writing world at UiA.
I’m SO excited for anyone who wants to listen! 💚

And a huge thank you to the people who brought this project to life:

👨‍🏫 Producer & arrangements: @espeneidem
🎤 Backing vocals & collab / Visual Design: @elliduh
🎤 Backing vocals / Photographer: @selma.thu
🥁 Drums: @sofusg04
🎧 Master: @stevengrantbishop

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Forever grateful to have such wonderful people in my life. <3 by @elliduh
