Someone taught me “do it scared”, because in this life there will always be things that come up that scare us.

But it’s our choice, do we walk through that door even though it can be hard and uncomfortable?
I was honestly so scared to move to a new country by myself, I was scared to travel by myself, I was scared to go all in with social media, I was scared to speak on stage (still am sometimes haha) but I was tired of letting “being scared” be my excuse.

So I started to do things even if it scared me, and all of it just made me realize it wasn’t as bad as I let my mind make it out to be. So what if? What if you step out and do the thing the scares you? What if it turns out to be the best thing you’ve ever done? The outcome might just surprise you by @ellielani7

Before moving to a new country, my top prayer was for God to gift me an amazing friend. One I could laugh with, cry with, pray with, adventure with, and walk through this next season of my life in the Philippines with. He gave me Kai. My roommate and now one of my best friends.

Not only is she one of the sweetest, most kind and genuine people I’ve ever met but her name is a true testimony of itself.

Back in 2024, I spent a lot of time at Lanikai beach area in Hawaii. I remember saying to the Lord “wow I would really love a friend named Kai one day that would be so cool, so our names could be Lanikai, one of my favorite places.” I completely forgot about that until the day I met her and she told me her name is Kai. I immediately asked her how she spelt it and I wanted to cry of Gods goodness because I knew in that moment she was the friend I have been praying for.
