September is national sucide awareness month. its month where we sit and recognize all the living breathing lives we lost to such a cruel thing. Endless possibilities, endless laughs, mothers, teachers, parents, kids, family. Lost in seconds to something so evil.

I want to really emphasize on how this is absolutely not just something we should care about during Suicide Prevention Month. This is reality. These are real people, real families, and real lives affected every single day.

I don’t know who this is reaching today. but listen to these words: take a step today. Call the people you love. Check in on your happy & sad friends. go get coffee. Take a break. Rest. Live a little more than you did yesterday. Smile, laugh. Eat the extra calories. You’re worth more than just a feeling. Stay here.
