The ocean is such a beautiful example of God’s mastery.

just as the waves wash the shore Jesus washes us clean. more vast than it’s reach and more numerous than the drops of water within it is His love for you. Its capacity serves to take care of the creatures within it just as we are called to take care of the earth. And His creativity and desire for us to enjoy creation is emphasized through each wave that folds onto the sand.

Its beauty serves to reflect His!

God is so masterful and intentional with everything He creates. If He worked so hard to make something like the ocean to serve so many amazing purposes, think about what He has intended for you! He created you for the purpose of His glory and to have + bring so much joy! You bleed beauty with each breath you take and smile you give to others.

If you find yourself starting to forget this, maybe It’s time to buy a plane ticket to florida.

These past few days of warmer weather have got me thinking a lot about God’s kindness.

It’s in a warm meal shared with laughter and rants about classes. The A on an assignment you thought you’d barely be able to turn in. The call from your parents right as you were thinking of how much you missed them.

And the way the sun breaks through the crisp winter air and shines warmly enough that wearing a t-shirt to class is no longer painful.

As simple as it is, I think the point of life is to actually enjoy it.

Winter is hard—I am learning a whole new level of that at college trying to walk 20 minutes in the negatives while not slipping. But what is even harder is missing out on all the little ways God shows He loves you. How silly is it to take the simple joys for granted! Those small, every day moments are what make life…life.

God loves you. Just look around and you will see evidence of that everywhere. Like the way the air shifts from biting cold to fresh and warm when you needed it to the most.
