Welcome to Mentality Farm.

A few years ago when I was thinking about making the entrepreneurial jump, I had every fear imaginable put in my ear by W2-minded people. “What about health insurance?” “What about taxes?” “What if you fail?”

But deep down, I believed if I truly put my mind to something, I could figure it out.

So I took the leap. Learned sales. Got uncomfortable. Stayed consistent. Failed a lot. Kept going anyway.

Fast forward 3.5 years later from doing that “little insurance thing”… and now I get to say this:

Welcome to Mentality Farm.

This isn’t just land to me. It’s proof that betting on yourself can change your entire life.

A place where we can slow down a little. Ride horses. Have animals running around. Float in the creek. Shoot guns with the boys. Sit under the stars. Bring the team together for lock-ins that are about more than sales.

Growing up, I always said: “One day I wanna own land and have the freedom to do whatever I want.”

Today I can officially say… that dream is checked off the list.

About 4 years ago I went to a CPA to get advice on my taxes. 
At the time I had a stable W-2 job as a mechanical engineer. A career I had gone to school for four years to get. 
But I was thinking about leaving it to take a shot at entrepreneurship. 
When I explained what I wanted to build and the income I believed was possible, the CPA I was speaking with, Trevor, gave me some unnecessary advice. 
He told me as he leans back in his chair…
“You should keep my engineering job and not make the jump… because you wont make the kind of money you are dreaming about”  
Fast forward four years. 
Today I just sent my tax paperwork over to my new CPA, and on the drive from a midday gym session - top down in my C8 Corvette - heading to one of our three offices after depositing about $10k over the last two days, I randomly remembered that conversation. 
That “risky” decision ended up being the best decision I’ve ever made. 
The business worked. The income far surpassed what that W-2 ever could have produced.  And the freedom that came with it is something I wouldn’t trade for anything. 
Lesson here: 
Most people give advice based on the life they understand… not the life you’re capable of building.  Funny how often the people who’ve never built anything are the ones telling you not to.
