What an amazing nine days at the 2026 NSCA National Championships in San Antonio!
I competed in 12 events this year and was fortunate to come home with 10 trophies. There were a lot of great moments during the week, but a few that I’m especially proud of:
🏆 Beretta Challenge Super Sporting — 93/100
I finished 9th out of 480 shooters in Master Class. It was really cool to see my name on the leaderboard with so many shooters I have looked up to and watched compete.
🏆 28 Gauge Sporting Clays — 95/100
I finished 3rd out of 676 shooters.
🏆 Sport Skeet High Overall — 147/150
I shot a perfect 50/50 on Friday.
🏆 Sub-Gauge High Overall — 266/300
By the end of Nationals, I had earned 10 trophies in the 12 events I competed in.
More than the trophies, I’m thankful for all of the people who have helped me get here.
I especially want to thank TK Caskey. TK gave me my foundation in sporting clays and taught me so much about how to shoot this game. A lot of what I was able to do this week started with things he taught me years ago, and I’ll always be grateful for everything he has done for me.
I also want to thank my coaches Travis Mears, Vincent Hancock, Eli Ellis, Brian Burrows, and Dominic Grossi. Each of you has helped me become a better shooter and competitor in different ways. I’m very lucky to have such an incredible group of people willing to coach me, push me, and help me keep improving.
A huge thank-you to my sponsors for believing in me and helping me compete at this level:
Rio Ammo
Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch
Cole Gunsmithing
Thank you to everyone who encouraged me, watched me shoot, sent me messages, or congratulated me this week. One of my favorite parts of shooting is all of the friendships I’ve made and the people I get to compete with.
I’m proud of what I accomplished at Nationals, but I also learned a lot this week about things I can keep improving.
Nine days. 12 events. 10 trophies. A lot of great memories.
I’m thankful for an amazing Nationals and already excited to get back to work. by @elliottdeadbirdwiley
