I don’t want to appear redundant to posts you have already seen, but showing up on ONE day is not the change we need. I know that activation looks different for all of us, but the fact is we need MORE.

📢 More investments into the movement, and the change makers doing the work
📢 More capacity to those who are showing up (reach out if you need a deeper understand about capacity building)
📢 More callouts to those in power
More people showing out to the polls, and helping build a SUSTAINABLE pipeline of candidates who care about people
📢 More elected officials actually doing their jobs and not buying into the harmful practices of capitalism
📢 More FACT based education + sharing
📢 More third spaces where community can connect and have deeper conversations
📢 More people demonstrating intentional community building and care models that include accountability
📢 More de-centering specific issues + participating in oppression olympics
📢 More listening to the ones affected by these atrocious acts of our administration

This is not an exhaustive list, and I know I am missing things. I just want to encourage folks to DO SOMETHING. Sitting idle is not working, and quite frankly our opposition is not. They are working vigorously to cause as much damage as possible.

As always - I am here for dialogue, and offering space to figure out how we can make a shift in a more productive direction.

I’m marrying my dream girl.

10/12/24 was a beautifully curated day full of love and laughter. I followed a scavenger hunt and ended with a yes!

I know there’s a lot of things happening around that make us feel our voices are being trampled, but I can also say there are things happening that require our voice to continue serving those who are being silenced through policy making and egregious legislation.

My comments, dms, and texts are open. I really want to talk and learn where people are. I also hope yall are open to hearing me as well. The work is HARD, but there are some amazing people fighting through all of the opposition.

Also - we are doing something right, there are voter suppression tactics being introduced weekly. by @ellolique
