‘The Journey’
2026

My goal for the Broken Hill residency was to finish 1 painting and I’m happy to say I did! The goats were a challenge but I love the big guy on the left. See if you can find the shingleback lizard and cricket. by @elloydsart

My Broken hill art residency has begun! We left home on Friday and stayed at Cobar before finally arriving Saturday afternoon. We saw so many goats, emus and baby emus on our drive. Silvertons donkeys are HUGE. I’m loving the colours out here. Stay tuned! by @elloydsart

‘The magic below the blue’
2026
Acrylic on canvas and glitter medium.

I’ve been really busy making art and needed a break, so I painted on my break! I really wanted to do something playful and colourful. I really enjoyed painting all the little fish and coral. Thanks Amora for telling me to paint something new haha! by @elloydsart

‘Karipi’- The Wonnarua word for white cockatoo

This painting is the second that accompanies the larger painting ‘Ellalong’. The preschool has 2 classrooms and each has their own name after a bird.
I can’t wait to see them all installed at Ellalong primary school.
