✨CAPTAIN SPOTLIGHT✨

* 💃🏻 How long have you been a Sassy? A dance captain?
Joined in ‘22, became captain at the same time as @stephaniegiglio lol so whatever year she says is my year too lol

* 🪩 What’s your secret to surviving parade season with your sparkle (mostly) intact?
Hairspraying your face post-makeup and glitter makes everything stay longer!

* 🎶 What song instantly gets you on the dance floor — no matter where you are?
I LOVE when @topfayard plays our “Good Day” song by Nappy Roots at the start of the parade- it gets me going every time!!

* 💄 What’s one piece of parade-day advice you’d give to a first-time marcher?
Cut your toenails!

Catch Eliska and the other Sassyracs this Mardi Gras season!
* Lyons Club - Feb 1
* Krewe of Sparta - Feb 7
* Krewe of Muses - Feb 12
* Krewe of Tucks - Feb 14 by @ellybean7186

👻 Practice makes parade perfect! The Sassyracs have been working hard to bring the spooky sparkle to this year’s Krewe of Boo parade. 💜💚🧡 Catch us on the streets October 25 — but for now, it’s all sweat, sass, and spooky season spirit! 🎃 #KreweOfBoo #Sassyracs #ParadePrep #NOLAHalloween (Photos by @ellybean7186) taken in Audubon Park, New Orleans by @ellybean7186
