We can either focus on everything we don’t have, everything we want but can’t get, every prayer that hasn’t been answered, and the healing that hasn’t happened yet...or we can be thankful for everything we do have, for every blessing God has given us, and for all the miracles He has performed in our lives.

We are more than blessed, and if we look closely, God has given us more than we deserve.

So I choose to be thankful for a new day, for an opportunity. I choose to shake off the fear of the future and let God do His will. May everything happen in His time, His way.

Grateful for the joy of creating new life. Grateful to see a new day.

At the beginning of 2024, I intentionally tried many things for the first time. It even became my motto: “a year of many firsts.”

But now, as 2025 comes to an end, I’ve realized something… there’s always room to try something new. Every day is a new opportunity. And even when it’s not intentional, we’re constantly learning, adjusting, and experiencing life for the first time in small ways.

Not everything on my 2025 was “good” I was hospitalized (for the very first time in my whole life) for several days while pregnant, it was definitely something new and not comfortable, but even then, I learned something and became more grateful for the things I have and things I can do.

Living in thankfulness is a decision and a learning mindset changes everything. Seeing everyday moments as new. Living with childlike eyes: curious, open, present.

It doesn’t have to be something big, maybe you tried many recipes, visited a place for the first time, did something for the first time…

So if you feel like you did “nothing” this year… think again. I’m sure there are many new things hidden in the ordinary. ✨
