It’s been a while since I’ve shown my face on here as I’m always hiding behind the camera 📸🫣

I’m Elly 💁🏻‍♀️ — a Bristol-born wedding photographer and lifestyle content creator with a love for food, exploring new places, hunting down pretty interiors (more of that on @insidebristol), and capturing the beauty in every day moments 😎🫶🏼

This #FoodFriday, Elly (@ellydeakin) shares her Bath food and drink favourites...

"Hey, I’m Elly, a Bristol-based wedding and lifestyle photographer with a love for food, travel and capturing everyday moments. My photography and content blends natural light, retro film tones and a love of storytelling.

You’ll often find me with a camera in hand and food in the other, discovering pretty interiors and hidden gems in a new city. Being so close to Bristol, Bath is a place I regularly visit and always love exploring — from its beautiful streets and architecture to discovering new bakeries and restaurants.

My top five places to eat and drink in Bath are:

1. @greenstreetsandwiches — I can never resist grabbing one of their fresh rolls with rotisserie chicken, bacon, rocket and mayo. Their breakfast baps are also amazing.

2. @oakrestaurantbath — Set within one of Bath’s oldest buildings, I love this vegetarian small plates restaurant. Every dish is made with fresh, seasonal produce and the interior is so cosy.

3. @sydneysbath — From the owners of @thescallopshell, Sydney’s is a lovely restaurant and bar that’s big on delicious seafood. Definitely worth a visit for a rooftop lunch.

4. @solinapasta — This place gets a lot of shout-outs, and there are so many reasons why I love Solina. Fresh pasta at reasonable prices in a beautiful building overlooking Pulteney Bridge is a 10/10 for me.

5. @dos_dedos_bath — The place to go in Bath if you’re a Mexican food fan like me. The perfect spot for sharing plates, cocktails and a proper Mexican feast."

a little Bath escape 🤍 ad — pr stay

24 hours in Bath, with the perfect place to come back to after a day exploring the city🚶🏻‍♀️📸

@hiding_spaces are a collection of beautiful apartments on Trim Street, right in the heart of Bath. We stayed in the Penthouse and the rooftop terrace overlooking Bath Abbey and the surrounding cityscape was such a highlight — especially from the hot tub 🫧

the day was spent checking out the new vegan bakery @_morso_bakery, grabbing cake from @sonder_bath, dining al fresco at @noyaskitchen, and squeezing in a cinema date + comedy show before retreating back to the apartment for a good night’s sleep 💤

delicious food, a cosy apartment and a rooftop hot tub… not a bad way to spend 24 hours 🤍✨
