🪩 Brassroots District: LA ‘74 is a fully immersive concert and theater experience where the entire venue transforms into a living slice of LA’s legendary funk era.

Don your grooviest fashion and kick the night off dancing to a live, 9-piece funk and soul band that truly rocks. But don’t get locked in too much to the music - as tempting as it is.

You’re a part of the show! Wander the many rooms and interact with the roaming characters as the intrinsic storyline unfolds all around you. The more you immerse yourself, the better your experience! There are several plot lines to follow and you will not catch it all in one night. My recommendation? Follow you favorites and definitely plan to attend multiple times!

Keeping in theme with Women’s History Month, the setting of this incredible experience couldn’t be more perfect! It takes place inside The Catch One in Arlington Heights near Ktown in LA. The legendary venue opened in 1973 and became one of the first Black, female-owned nightclubs in Los Angeles, and a safe place for LGBTQ+ POC.

The One Catch? It’s 1974, baby. No phones allowed. Just good vibes, live music, and the kind of night that makes you want to boogie until the lights come up.

This was honestly one of my favorite things I’ve ever done in LA. 💃🏼

😈 Hazbin Hotel Season 2 finale drops today!!! Tell me your favorite theories in the comments! 😈

🔥 Thank you @hellaverseonprime, @spindlehorsetoons, @bentoboxent, and most importantly, @morganaignis for inviting me to the amazing screening event last night! Always love a night out with my neglected daughter, @triforce_of_procrastination.

🎭 We were treated to a viewing turned sing-along of the Hazbin Hotel on Broadway before the premier screening of the last two episodes of this season!!! No spoilers here, but know that it’s everything we wanted and leaves us with so many new questions!!!
