2024 was a dream. Here's some highlights ✨:

-Got hit by layoffs, leading to a full year of freelance gigs working with some of my favorite people again (and some amazing new peeps as well!)

-Went to Banff and Jasper National Park with the boys. Saw beautiful snow-covered mountains and lakes. Golfed in Alberta with that same backdrop.

-Ran my first half marathon with friends in OC and loved all 2:08 of it. Learned to take things one step at a time.

-Backpacked across Asia for a month. Rode a motorbike across the Ha Giang Loop. Swam with elephants under a waterfall in Chiang Mai. Caught the sunrise after summiting Mt. Batur. Saw manta rays in Nusa Penida. Took a surf camp in Bali.

-Worked remote while traveling across Europe. Spent a month eating my way through Spain. Met up with travel friends in a few places, and made new ones along the way. Shared more meals and mems than I can count. Took a pasta class in Milan. Made ceramics and visited Christmas markets in Prague. Learned to develop film in Budapest.

-Celebrated my 30th on a camping trip filled with the best food and my best friends. Followed by a brewery night with my LA peeps.

-Also celebrated lots of birthdays, weddings, and babies this year! And really enjoyed spending quality time with my family and friends back home since I traveled so much.

-Got a full-time offer at Crispin, which means I'm finally moving to NYC! Ended the year apartment hunting and counting down while dressed in Après-ski attire. Love it here already.

A huge weekend celebration for my cousin, Teri, who finally became a doctor! When we were kids, we were inseparable. We used to spend every weekend sleeping over, drawing, watching movies, and playing pretend. Pretty sure we pretended to be doctor and patient on a few occasions. A story my aunt always tells us is when she found us in a bathroom using a toilet to wash my hair as if we were at a salon lol. So many of my childhood memories revolve around us getting into trouble, whether its nearly lighting her house on fire (Don't try to draw using candle-lit chopsticks) or being up too late playing games. Spent that trip thinking about how big of an impact she had on me growing up, and I couldn't be more proud of who she's become today.
