🔥 Ready to enter the Crucible? 🔥

The Deluxe Paperback Edition of The Games Gods Play is HERE! With gorgeous foiled & stenciled edges, new interior artwork, and an exclusive bonus scene, it’s the perfect time to jump in ✨

Let the games begin ⚔️

🗨️ QOTD: If you had to choose one Greek God to be your partner in a deadly trial, who are you choosing?

Hades is the obvious choice for me 🖤🤭😄... but I think it would be so much fun to work with Hermes 🪽

SEPTEMBER READING WRAP-UP 📚

September was my vacation month — three whole weeks with no work, no deadlines, no adulting… just pure freedom 🥹

Hiking, beach days, discovering new bookstores, slow mornings, and finally having time to just enjoy life. Honestly? It was perfect 🌊🥾📚☀️

And somehow, in between all of that, I managed to read 6 books — and not a single bad read 🤌🏻

🖤 Sinners Reunion — dark & unhinged
🌧️ In Stormy Weather — all the feelings
🏐 Taking Sides — sports romance + ARC
🐺 Mate — wolves, vampires & fated mates
🏰 Twisted Academy + Secret Alliance — secrets, drama & academy chaos

Six books, very different vibes, and all great reads!

Maybe I didn't read as much as I usually do, but honestly? A month spent hiking, sitting by the beach, wandering into bookstores and having absolutely no work problems sounds like a pretty perfect reading month to me 🤍

💭 QOTD: What's your favorite way to spend a reading vacation : beach + book, cozy bookstore hopping, or exploring somewhere new?

🐉✨ I finally visited Rebecca Yarros’ Dragonkind site to find out which dragon would choose me… and I got an orange dragon! 🧡🐉

Honestly? I’m pretty happy with that result! 🔥

But now for the important question…

🗨️QOTD: If you had a dragon, what colour would they have?

I’d love a black dragon with blue and green iridescent scales — the kind that shimmers differently depending on the light.🖤💙💚

I did this stack last year and couldn’t resist doing it again, this time with my two new cosy sweaters 🍄🧡

QOTD: Are you a sweater weather lover too? 👀🍂

I’ve tagged a few lovely bookish friends to join in and make their own sweater stack! 🫶🏻 As always, no pressure at all 💛

All I wanted was to keep my head above water. To survive long enough to hit my eighteenth birthday so I could escape the nightmare that my homelife had become. But all of that was turned upside down the moment they showed up.
The best friend from my past. The surly brooder. The kind-hearted nerd. The king of campus. The dark one.
They say they’re here to give me a fresh start in a place where I’m safe, warm, and cared for.
And I can’t deny the pull I feel to all five of them. The buzz that lights beneath my skin when they touch me. And for the first time, I feel like I might belong.
But not everything is as it seems. These guys have secrets. Ones that will rip my world wide open. But when a dark evil begins stalking us, we’re all in for the fight of our lives…

✨ Mate by @alihazelwood ✨

I was very hesitant to start Mate because I absolutely loved Bride, and I wasn’t sure anything could live up to it… but WOW. I was so wrong 🫠💚

Serena and Koen’s relationship was everything I wanted. Their build-up was playful, passionate, and so much fun to read. And the banter?! Absolutely my favorite part. The chemistry between them had me smiling like an idiot!

The slow burn was perfect. Every little moment, every bit of tension, every step closer… I was eating it up! And when Koen gets all protective with those very strong “you’re mine” vibes??? Pfiou 🥵 I was swooning hard!

It had that perfect mix of romance, tension, humor, and paranormal goodness that kept me hooked.

🐺 Paranormal romance
💫 Fated mates
🏡 Found family
👀 Forced proximity
🐢 Slow burn
🫠 Touch her and die

I went into this one nervous because Bride had set the bar so high, but Mate completely won me over. Serena and Koen have officially stolen my heart 🥹💚

🗨️QOTD: Are you a “he’s obsessed with her but tries to hide it” girlie or a “he knows she’s his and everyone else better back off” girlie? 👀🔥

Because Koen’s “you’re mine” energy had me gone 🫠

🌌 Can we take a moment to appreciate these absolutely stunning endpapers for The Wrath Gods Reap ?! 🌌

I am staring. I am zooming in. I am emotionally unwell. I have questions. I have zero chill 😂
The purple sky...The stars...The city glowing in the distance...That silhouette... The whole vibe!! 😍😍

These aren't just endpapers. These are an actual portal into Hades & Lyra's world and I will step through it willingly! No regrets! 💜

Abigail Owen really said, “you thought the story was going to be enough? How about I make the book itself gorgeous too?”
Please, my heart can only take so much 😭📚💜

Now excuse me while I go stare at these endpapers until november 17th🫠

Can you show some love to the incredible talent behind this artwork? 😍🔥😍

🌪️ Twister fan, this is not a DRILL! ⚡️

If you love the movie Twister as much as I do, @authorchelseacurto 's In Stormy Weather is an absolute gem you need to read immediately!

This book completely stole my heart, here are the reasons why:

The Tropes: Storm Chasing ⛈️ + Best Friend’s Brother 🫣 + Rivals to Lovers 💥 + Women in STEM 🔬 + Forced Proximity 🏠

The Banter: 10/10 perfect. The quick-witted back-and-forth between Quincy and Sebastian kept me grinning the entire time 🔥

Sebastian: total swoon territory 🫠 The way he is so quick to step up and defend Quincy? Instant top-tier book boyfriend status!

The Twister nods: as a die-hard fan of the movie, reading a storm-chasing romance with these references was pure magic 🤩

Definitely a 5 ⭐ read.

A fast-paced, high-heat romance with brilliant banter, severe weather tension, and a hero who will have you swooning from page one!
Grab a warm drink, curl up, and prepare to read this in one sitting!

💬 QOTD : Are you a Twister movie fan too? 🌪️
What’s your favorite trope on this list: Best Friend’s Brother, Rivals to Lovers, or Forced Proximity?
