PT. 5: THE VOICES BETWEEN THE MOMENTS
Photography by @studio_york / Claudia York

We were deeply honored to have Her Royal Excellency Amb. Prof. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, First Lady of Kwara State @firstladykwara , grace us with her presence at Veiled Truth.

Because Veiled Truth was never only about what walked the runway.

It was about the conversations in between. The voices that made us think. The stories shared openly. And the small, unscripted moments that reminded us why bringing people together matters.

Throughout the evening, our panelists and speakers opened conversations around identity, purpose, creativity, impact, and the experiences that shape who we become.

From @sonia_barbie_tucker and @dxo, to the perspectives shared by @astoldbymichelle, @hopelandbhs, @impact.architect, @auntyeugenia and @brit.eba .eba each voice brought something different into the room.

We watched people listen. Connect. Exchange ideas. Laugh. Reflect. Meet someone they may never have otherwise crossed paths with.

And sometimes, those are the moments that stay with us the longest.

We were also grateful to have @itssjordanmarch be part of the evening, alongside designer @janepriestermadethis adding yet another layer of creativity and community to what Veiled Truth became.

The runway may capture our attention.
But the people give it meaning.

The speeches.
The conversations.
The introductions.
The moments between the moments.

Those are the parts of an event you can’t always plan, and often the ones worth remembering most.

This is Veiled Truth.
Unveiling what’s underneath.

PT. 4: JELLABIYA
Photography by @studio_york / Claudia York

What we wear can reveal something about us.
It can also carry the stories of where we come from.

For Veiled Truth, @jellabiya brought heritage to the runway, exploring the space where tradition, identity, and contemporary fashion meet.

There is an artistry in honoring what came before while creating something that feels entirely your own. Through flowing silhouettes, thoughtful details, and a celebration of modest dressing, @jellabiya showed us that clothing can be both an expression of personal style and a connection to something deeper.

Because fashion is more than what meets the eye.

Behind a silhouette can be history.
Behind a detail can be tradition.
Behind a garment can be generations of influence, reimagined through a new perspective.

Jellabiya reminds us that sometimes what is most meaningful about what we wear isn’t immediately visible.
The garment is seen.
The story it carries is often veiled.
This is Veiled Truth.
Unveiling what’s underneath.

PT. 3: FRANCAS BOUTIQUE
Photography by @studio_york / Claudia York

What we see is the final look.
What we don’t always see is the eye behind it.

For Veiled Truth, Francas Boutique brought another side of fashion to the runway, the art of curation.

Behind every piece chosen, every look styled, and every detail brought together is a point of view. An understanding of how individual garments can become something entirely new when placed in conversation with one another.

Because fashion isn’t only about what is created.
It’s also about how it is seen.

Francas Boutique reminded us that behind an effortless look are countless decisions, what to choose, what to pair, what to leave out, and ultimately, what story you want someone to feel before a single word is spoken.

The final look is visible.
The intention behind it is often veiled.

This is Veiled Truth.
Unveiling what’s underneath.

PT. 2: LA BLOOM
Photography by @studio_york / Claudia York
What we see on the runway is the finished story.
What we don’t see is everything it took to get there.
In the week and a half leading up to this collection hitting the runway, designer @sarapelaezgomez and her team in South America were racing against the clock, designing, constructing, refining, and bringing each piece to life.
Long hours. Last-minute decisions. Hands at work behind the scenes. The kind of dedication that disappears the moment a finished garment steps into the light.
And then, we see the result.
La Bloom’s collection arrived with a sense of romance, femininity, and ease that almost conceals the intensity of what went into creating it. Each look felt effortless, despite being the product of extraordinary effort.
That is part of the magic of fashion: by the time a piece reaches the runway, we see the beauty, not the hours, the revisions, the craftsmanship, or the people who brought it there.
For La Bloom, every detail tells a story.
And this is only part of it.

PT. 1: BACI FASHION
Photography by @ijyoyo
What we see on the outside is only part of the story.
Veiled Truth was an exploration of what lies beneath the surface, the beauty we see, and the unseen labor, discipline, and perseverance it takes to create it.
Baci Fashion brought that truth to life through a striking mix of silhouettes, textures, and forms. But behind every beautiful garment is something we don’t always see: hours of meticulous work, precision, repetition, and an incredible amount of labor.
The beauty is visible.
The work is often veiled.
Honoring the artistry and craftsmanship of designer Luisa Spagnoli, whose vision reminds us that what looks effortless is often anything but.
This is Veiled Truth.
