POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Most businesses build in the wrong order. That’s why the work never stops feeling like firefighting.

Content first. Marketing first. Posting first.

I get it — it feels like progress. But if your systems aren’t talking to each other, no caption is going to fix that. You’re just decorating a house with no foundation.

Here’s the sequence I actually run with every client, before a single post goes live:

1. The Audit — diagnose what’s broken, missing, and already working
2. The Systems Build — the infrastructure everything else stands on
3. The Strategy — the plan, once there’s something solid to build it on
4. Social Media Management — step four, not step one
5. The Add-Ons — newsletters, offers, ebooks — once there’s bandwidth

I didn’t start here either. I started as a social media manager before I saw the same pattern in every single client: the marketing was never the real problem. The missing infrastructure was.

Tech Tuesday, Q4 edition

Most businesses or organizations don’t lose holiday revenue because they didn’t have enough customers. They lose it because their systems couldn’t keep up. Before the rush hits, make sure these three are working for you: intake, follow-up, and payments.

The Q4 Readiness Sprint gets all three holiday-ready, so you can focus on serving clients instead of chasing them. Established founders and organizations: DM “READY” to see if it’s a fit.

Tech Tuesday is back This week’s tool: @otter.ai

I use it to transcribe meetings, pull out key points automatically, and track action items — so nothing slips through the cracks. If you’re running a business (or five, like me 😅), a tool that catches what your memory doesn’t is non-negotiable.

Speaking of systems — my workshop is this Thursday. Virtual, and recorded if you can’t make it live. Link in bio.
