Training until Monster Hunter Wilds comes out in February 2025. ・ ・ Weakness exploit and part breaker... What a combo. A must for cutting tails off these poor monsters. ・ ・ Have you played the Monster Hunter Wilds demo yet? #monsterhunter #monsterhunterworldiceborne #mhw #switchaxe #capcom #videogames #playstation #ps4 #ps5 by @elpnt

I changed the look of the tsuka (handle) of a replica katana. Half a day's work. 🥵 ・ Now the grip is 100x more sturdy! 🤩 ・ ・ Painted the samegawa (ray skin) with black gloss lacquer. Mr. Color GX2 Ueno Black. 👍 ・ Re-wrapped the tsuka-ito with leather in the katatemaki style (battle wrap). ・ Used hishigami (rice paper) in between the twists, giving the wrap more volume. ・ ・ ・ This is my first time ever doing this, learning as I progressed. ・ There's many flaws and inconsistencies but I'm happy with the results. 😌✨ ・ ・ *I am not a pro or a practitioner. This is simply a hobby.* ・ #katana #刀 #samurai #侍 #martialarts #武道 #hobby #restoration #katatemaki #片手巻 #customization #customkatana by @elpnt

Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex (Destroy Mode) ・ Final closeup shots. ・ This was an experiment! Full details below... ・ I wanted a RG Unicorn Phenex but didn't like the gold plating and couldn't find the justification for that price tag. 😵 So instead, I took an RG Unicorn and combined it with Unicorn option parts to create a Phenex, 3rd party metal and 3D printed parts for details. Basically about the same price in total anyway. 🤷‍♂️🤣 ・ Knowing that Unicorn is a transformable Gundam, I chose to use acrylic paints with Pledge gloss as a topcoat for their scratch resistance properties. This was a challenge as the parts became too hard to reassemble due to paint thickness. ・ I dropped the entire build in February due to this - I was so discouraged. When November came, I could hear Phenex screaming at me from its box to complete it. 9 months later, the guilt grew too much to bear. I just had to finish it! ・ Then the worst happened... The topcoat got all fucked up on the shield parts and I forgot my paint process! NEVER EVER leave a project unfinished for that long without taking notes!! DOCUMENT YOUR PROJECTS! 😤 ・ In the end, some parts aren't fully connected in the final build. THIS WILL NEVER TRANSFORM TO UNICORN MODE. 😭 ・ For decals, I used none other than @delpidecal decals. There were no Phenex decals anywhere so I opted for Delpi's Perfectibility decals instead. Despite this, I still think they turned out great! Highly recommend their decals. 😎👍 ・ ・ Lastly, I want to give a special thanks to: @edicine_plamo and @robot_surgeon_2.0 For helping me through the process of this build. ・ Thanks for the guidance, the plamo discussions, and paint theory. I will remember these valuable lessons in the builds to come. 🙇‍♂️ ・ ・ Thank you for looking at my pictures and I hope you enjoyed my take on this iconic Gundam!

Rare and delicious Savor each and every sip Instant favorite #haiku ・ ・ Suntory Japanese whisky: Hibiki, Hakushu 12, Yamazaki 12. ・ ・ ・ Flavors that remind me of my trip to Japan. I fondly remember finishing a bottle of Hibiki in Shibuya and buying little bottles of Hakushu at one of the nearest convenience stores. I was drinking almost everyday and I miss the experience. Each sip relaxes me and reminds me of better times. 😌 ・ 乾杯！🥃 ・ #whisky #ウイスキー #japanesewhisky #suntorywhisky #suntory #サントリー #hibiki #響 #hakushu #白秋 #yamazaki #山崎 by @elpnt
