"Different Vibe" featuring @ericrachmany, @mellowmoodofficial and @kyleahern has been out for a couple days now on all streaming platforms (Link's in @elrabbi_ bio) and we couldn't be more stoked about this new tune. We want to hear what you think! How are you liking the tune? What's your favorite section or part of it? What does the song mean to you? For us, this tune has been a fresh energy that carries, ironically enough, a different energy. It symbolizes that feeling of going through your day or life and shifting your mentality on things that usually bring you down. It's all about checking in with yourself and creating a whole new space to be, maybe even host a gathering with some of the closest people you know and love. Leave some thoughtful comments below and let us know 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽 - elrabbi taken in Around The World by @elrabbi_

🎌Beeg Nippon '24🎌 (feat. Guam) Top questions to be answered: 1. Favorite part? Walking through Hakone, proposing there helps a little, tee hee 2. Favorite meal? @esoragoto_udon HANDS DOWN! I haven't had a bowl of udon THAT good in a loooooong while. Huge flavor, crazy depth to such simple creations. Big bonus points to doing it all gluten free too. 3. Favorite experience? @chaseki_hakone was a top for me. So many tea spots to hit and doing one in Hakone with such a master was amazing. New ideas on brewing techniques, adaptability, crazy selections. Haven't had a Saemidori like that in a long time. 4. New things learned? A couples. First, gluten free in Japan is VERY doable. I did a lot of research so @some_whereinbetween could experience Japanese food freely. Luckily, a lot of people are catching on. Soy sauce is a no go for celiacs, so you really gotta watch out, but if you plan right and have a translator app, it wasn't that bad unless we were out in the sticks. Second, LA needs to step up our public transport. Dawg what do you mean it's a 30 minute walk to the closest Sprouts to me here when I could walk 4 minutes to a Lawsons or take the Chiyoda line to the Hanzomon line and get right into Shibuya in under 30? Dude, LA, come on! We could do so much better for our city if we could just make the metro more reliable and safe. Lastly, learn about the place you're going. There are so many unique things about Japan (and most if not all countries) that if you take a couple seconds to participate in and practice, your presence becomes more of a respect towards the land you walk on. Hawaii taught me that. Never go to a place without giving back what it gives you. 5. Should you go? Hyakupaasento, dawg taken in Minato-ku by @elrabbi_

I miss making vids like this, man. Freeflow in Bb on a dampened upright I found at work. Sometimes it feels good to just catch a vibe and get things out of your mind and off your chest. Here ya go, that's all 🫡 by @elrabbi_

Currently: 31 Thank you to everyone who sent their wishes yesterday for the ol rotation around the sun. And a huuuuuge thank you to everyone who came out to The Wayfarer last night for the Japanese Lunchtime Rush/Jon August show. It was beyond a blast and it was so cool to see so many familiar and loving faces. We're gonna try and make em happen, aside from birthdays. Thanks for supporting us! • A good friend literally just told me this morning, "Your thirties are actually cool! It's like your twenties, but you actually know some things." I'm beyond grateful to be able to have done the things I have. Finally Grammy nominated, teaching the kids, touring with some of my favorite people, playing card games with some amazing people, I'm super stoked to be able to say this is the life I get to live from my choices. It's often I feel like I'm behind and not posting enough. I feel like I'm not using my platform to actually forward my "brand" and music properly, but I'll be honest, taking time for the mind and taking a break from brand campaign posting is a weight off the mind, albeit bad for growth haha. I know I don't post a lot on this app, but I try and spend more time working with people in person and connecting there. And as I grow older, the more I treasure those human connections, as evident last night at our show. • I used to be told I was the "young one" or the "baby" in the band. Lately when I tell people I'm in my 30's, they still say that, which is hard to believe. Maybe the people who've been telling me that are the same people who said it before and they've just grown older too. Regardless, I'm going to make the best of what I can of these years. They're still golden baby🫡🫡🫡 (also side note, no I didn't play on this record, that's Mike Lewis, I just absolutely love the new Bon Iver record these days) taken in Long Beach California by @elrabbi_

Hey homies, we have a big show coming next month!!! JLR is honored to announce that we’re putting on a massive bday show for our legendary front man @elrabbi_ at @wayfarercm on 11/24 featuring our boy @jonaugustmusic!! Eric has been a founding member of JLR since its inception 7 years ago, when four of us made a near month long trip to Japan in 2017. The man is a trailblazer when it comes to his craft. His musical prowess insanely covers a wide array of genres which include; his bread and butter, reggae, jazz, funk, rnb, and neo-soul. Eric’s playing resonates with a profound, unbeatable energy whether its on a big stage with his band @rebelutionmusic or in small intimate venues he carries the same amount of heart in his musicianship. His melodies are dangerously infectious and his presence on stage is nothing short of inspiring. JLR fam, I couldn’t be more excited to share this moment with YOU. so PLEASE, bring your friends and family, make every opportunity and effort to be there and have a good time 🙏🏼 $15 presale $20 doors be there // tix in bio soon ✌🏽 - gabe taken in The Wayfarer by @elrabbi_

Ya boi X @shakamonofficial 10/24-25 Man, this last week has been a whirlwind and a half. Creating your own live show ain't for the weak, especially when you've pretty much been supporting artists for most of your career. To take the reins felt so incredible. Firstly, thank you @mikepintomusic for allowing me to open up for you, brother. I've known Mike a long time and with our first co-written single out, it was a great opportunity to push both live and show people what we got going on. To share stage with such incredible humans means more than you'll ever know. • To my band, thank you for bringing the music to life. It's no easy task to learn all this new material with little to no rehearsal time in our busy lives. Regardless of circumstances, we made it. We had killer shows both times and showed people what we're capable of. Thank you @gabelariza, @ollie_baba13 and @jooseondrums. Yall the reals ones. • To @shakamonofficial, bro you're the best. Thank you for being such a great featured artist. With elrabbi, I intend to support and bring artists on to collab in a live setting. Shaka came in, learned all the tunes and led his tunes brilliantly as well. To be able to rely on and trust your fellow artists is a delicate balancing act, and this man did it in strides. I love you brother, and look forward to more opportunities. • To all of the people who came out to the shows, thank you for completing this wild circle in which we call a show. The Greater Show concept is something I teach and talk a lot about. Beyond the performers, you're part of the show too. Same with techs, sound people, security, everybody. You complete the energy we put out, and without you there is no show. Thank you a millions over and over. We will have more music and more shows coming in the future. We are FAR from really rolling this project out. • Swipe to check out some clips from these shows. Mixed bag from OC and SD. Love all you immensely!!!🫡🫡🫡 by @elrabbi_
