Artículo titulado "Al menos estamos vivos" La crisis que es tan omnipresente en Cuba como los lamentables vestigios de lo que alguna vez se hizo llamar "revolución" que durante años ha sabido superarse a peor y que ha agravado al miseria. Las ideas de esperanza, supervivencia diaria mal llamada como" lucha", la inflación, la falta de alimentos e insumos y el abandono gubernamental forma parte de la vida de Ariel y de millones de cubanos más que que esperan un descenlace a esta situación. Hopes, the daily struggle for survival (often mislabeled as "the fight"), inflation, shortages of food and supplies, and government neglect define the lives of Ariel and millions of other Cubans awaiting a resolution to this situation. @fotocanimar_festival Recientemente hemos recordado en nuestro feed los proyectos presentados a FOTOCANÍMAR por varios artistas jóvenes. Hoy traemos a Rolando Cabrera (1998, La Habana, Cuba), de 27 años. Graduado de Sociología en la Universidad de La Habana, es un fotógrafo que ha colaborado con diversos medios cubanos como Magazine AM:PM, Hypermedia Magazine y El Estornudo. Durante los últimos años ha participado en exposiciones colectivas dentro y fuera de Cuba en espacios como Fabrica de Arte Cubano, Salón de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo en el Centro de Desarrollo de las Artes Visuales (CDAV), Bienal de La Habana, la Fototeca de Cuba y el Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Wifredo Lam en Italia. En 2023 participó en «Inventario», Proyecto de Investigación sobre el arte cubano contemporáneo en la Fundación Ludwig de Cuba y, en 2024, formó parte de la muestra «Renuncia, elogio de lo perdido» como parte del Festival Internacional de Fotografía VII Edición en Verona, Italia. El proyecto presentado a nuestro festival fue iniciado en 2021 y constituye una búsqueda de las imágenes que representan las distintas etapas por las que ha transcurrido, desde la subjetividad, su propio paisaje.
