8 MONTHS SOBER 💛
A little over half a year sober! If you told me last year I’d be sober for longer than 1 month this year, I would’ve laugh and said “Yeah, RIGHT!”. But here I am and I couldn’t be more proud of myself for completing this milestone.

Coming from someone who used to drink everyday- whether it was a shot or a beer & increasing my amounts on weekends, it feels great. Alcohol caused me to miss out on important moments, make plenty of stupid choices, and those hangovers? Yeah… I don’t miss those at all!

Moderate drinking didn’t exist for me. It was either stop completely or continue repeating the same cycle. So I chose to stop. Not only for myself, but for my little family. They deserve the best version of me & I couldn’t keep being selfish and take that from them. 🥹💓

And to everyone that doubted me? This one is for you too. 🫶🏽

If you’ve been thinking about taking this step, do it. I believe in you! It’s not always easy, but it is so worth it. Your life, your choices. 💖 #milestone #sobermom #soberjourney #8months #alcoholfreelife by @elsajemente
