Clothing has and still is a grand part of our identity, image and culture. “Thoob alanashil” is traditionally and iconically a big part of women clothing, known for celebratory events. This piece is an appreciation to the hands that made it and showcasing the impact that is has.

“Salem Allan”

A stable icon in the art of singing especially as a “naham”, Salem was one of the well-known artists in muharraq. Entertaining the long pearl fishing trips that can take up to 6 months with his powerful voice with melodies and words of encouragement in a poetic manner. Salems portrait in a prideful and a performance manner portrays a memorial to his greatness among his environment.
