During the winter, I had stacked my flower pots. I had not been on the patio in a couple weeks (if you know about Atlanta’s pollen you would know why). Went out yesterday morning to sweep and I was pleasantly surprised to find this Hosta growing sideways. I thought it was an annual that would last for just a season. I was amazed at the resilience of this unassuming , and not-so-special plant . It wasn’t dead but was conserving energy during its dormancy. It was a reminder that despite the pressure that this world can bring and the folk the doubt/ question your abilities, when it’s your time you shall grow and maybe even bloom 😊. Sometimes you just have to do a work-around , be adaptable, and find the path of least resistance.
