One taco.
One moment.

Cooked with tradition, honest ingredients, and a team that loves what they do.

Our mural tells the story of El Taco — a place where good food, bold flavors, and vibrant culture come together. Inspired by Chef Maurilio’s journey, this piece brings our community’s energy to life. 🌮🎨✨ #ElTaco #MuralStory #NYCEats

We’re continuing to highlight the local businesses that make NYC special 🫶🏼this time, we’re heading to UES to show some love to El Taco 🌮

El Taco NYC is a first-generation Mexican Latino owned business that just celebrated their 1 year anniversary this past October 9th! After a visit to Mexico City, Maurilio sparked the idea of bringing his culture to NYC! What was a dream before, is now a staple to the UES community ✨

This is just the beginning. Here’s to supporting the next generation of Mexican-owned businesses and watching their stories grow 🇲🇽

El Taco turned ONE this week! 🌮🎂❤️
We want to thank every single one of you for your continued love and support. Seeing you enjoy our food and share moments with us means more than you know.
A special thank you to our incredible kitchen crew and front-of-house team, who put so much care and hard work into everything they do. None of this would be possible without them!
Here’s to many more years of good food, familiar faces, and celebrating together. Thank you for making our first year so special.
With love,
The El Taco Team ❤️ taken in Upper East Side by @eltaco_nyc

POV: you found the Mexican coast in the middle of NYC 🌊🇲🇽✨

Fresh from the sea 🦐🐟 wrapped in a warm tortilla finished with limón 🍋‍🟩 and a little bit of México in every bite.

Salty air, fresh flavors, cold beers & tacos on the table 🌊☀️🌮

This is what summer tastes like. by @eltaco_nyc

A weekend this delicious deserves two specials 🇲🇽✨

First, our tostada de atún rosado fresh tuna, bright flavors, the perfect crunch, and all the modern Mexico City energy. Fresh, colorful, and absolutely delicious.

Then, our cochinita pibil, served as tacos or a crispy tostada, with the rich, authentic flavors of Yucatán.

Two different tastes of Mexico, one delicious weekend at El Taco. 🌮 taken in Upper East Side, Manhattan, NY, U.S by @eltaco_nyc
