What should have been a fight announcement post is turning out to be exactly the opposite. I was set to fight July 25th on the @pflmma Washington D.C. card, but unfortunately, I was injured and forced to step down. I take pride in being game and always showing up. I tried my hardest to heal up and finish my camp strong, but there just no way. It sucks. This has been the hardest year of my fighting career by far, but I know God has a plan for me, so I’m keeping my head on straight and keeping faith that things will work out the way they’re supposed to. by @eltorogutierrez

I keep getting asked when I’ll be back in the cage, and to be honest, I have no clue. These last few months have been incredibly frustrating trying to find a fight. I’ve sacrificed so much for this. Driving a thousand miles a week, spending time away from my loved ones, training my ass off woth no fight date in mind. It’s tough. But God willing, that call will come soon. And when it does, I’ll be ready.
