Less than a week until my first triathlon: Ironman California in Sacramento!

A little moto date to celebrate 9 years together! 🏍️🎉

We cruised along the coast to Santa Barbara and camped in a safari tent in the Santa Ynez valley. Such a special part of California that we’d love to explore more of.

Burning Man! With unlimited possibilities, it’s the perfect blank canvas to be 100% you.

But I realized, it’s also an amazing personal growth tool. Your decisions on the playa reflect who you are on the inside, and paying attention to that has brought great clarity to my life.

It’s our 4th burn in 9 years and it’s super cool to see how we’ve evolved. Here are some of my reflections this time around!

Went down to Miami for my first movie premiere! And of course it’s about bikes 🤩🚴🍿

“The Road To Why” documents @alvaronunez’s quest to complete @raceacrossamerica solo, riding a bike over 250 miles a day for 12 straight days. On less than 2 hours of sleep per day 🤯

I was part of the crew that supported Alvaro and it was one of the most intense & powerful experiences of my life.

Seeing someone push through an inconceivable amount of pain, then emerge victorious with a powerful “WHY” has inspired me to chase my dreams with more courage.

The legendary Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu! A perfect way to celebrate after my ayahuasca retreat 🏔️

One of the lasting effects of the medicine was heightened gratitude, where I would savor everything a bit more. The crisp mountain air. The starry night sky. The camaraderie of the squad. The sense of wonder on planet Earth 🤩

A few days in Cusco after my ayahuasca retreat. The capital of the Incan empire, sitting at over 11,000 ft. One of my favorite cities around the world! 🇵🇪

It’s full of insane stone ruins (possibly built by aliens 👽), furry & *sometimes* friendly alpacas (yes one spit in my face 🦙), and amazing food (they have over 4,000 types of potatoes 🥰🥔 ).

Next up, we’re trekking to Machu Picchu!

My first ayahuasca retreat! I’ve been curious & a bit terrified for years, but I’m so glad to finally take the leap 🙌

What a cool & crazy experience, like a challenging mountain climb for personal growth. The ceremonies could be physically brutal (the nausea & purging) 😰 But after that passes, you’re rewarded with profound beauty, insights, and spiritual expansion 🤩

I’m leaving the retreat with fresh courage & excitement to pursue my next chapter of life: starting a family, launching new businesses & creative ventures, and reaching the next level of health & fitness 🚀

But most importantly, I was able to connect with my inner child’s true calling: to experience as much love & joy as possible on planet Earth 💗

Thank you @arkana.spiritual.center for creating such a comfortable & safe space for transformation. I felt so much love from everyone here - the shamans, facilitators, staff, and fellow guests ❤️

And the location, nestled in Peru’s high Andes, with ancient Incan history everywhere - simply amazing ⛰️

Each time I renew my passport, I like to think about every stamp I received. What better way to reflect on the last 10 years of life? 🛂

Amazingly, Natalie and I made it to all 7 continents together! It wasn’t a plan, but just a result of our love for outdoor adventure & exploring incredible places 🌏

Can’t wait to fill the new passport with another decade of adventures & memories. Coming up: Peru for the first time and a return to Australia & NZ 🇵🇪🇦🇺🇳🇿

Celebrating America’s 250th birthday from the summit of America’s highest mountain 🏔️
