Some days remind you why you fell in love with cars in the first place.

86 Day was one of them.

This S2000 is one of those cars that keeps giving you reasons to take the long way home.

Moments like these are why I love making films.

Live to learn another day,
Because some lessons arrive disguised as our greatest failures.

It’s fascinating to see how automotive luxury has evolved and become united by an eye for detail and an obsession with things made with intention.

The silhouette of a car, the construction of a jacket, the mechanics of a watch. Different mediums, the same hunger for design.

I love seeing where this culture is heading. Luxury gets interesting when it stops being about what something costs and starts becoming about what it says.

Cars and the people around them are part of what makes this city feel alive.

A rainy night on the Lower East Side 🗽

There’s something about fashion and classic cars that makes them feel like they belong in the same frame. Each brings its own character, and together they start to tell a story. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it time and time again.

NYC culture has a way of making the whole thing feel like a movie.

NYFW spilled into the streets, the cars came out, the fits got louder, and for a few hours the whole block became the show.

DEEDS x Gearheads NYC. New York doing what New York does best.

You just had to be there. Pt.1

@deedsonline @gearheads.nyc @evisu1991 thank you for the culture🙏🏽

Characters of NYFW meets car culture.

Two worlds that usually exist in their own lanes, sharing the same street. The silhouettes, the colors, the personalities, the cars.

Fashion and cars have always been about more than what we wear or what we drive. I believe they’re extensions of who we are.

Different forms of design and self-expression, meeting in the middle.

You just won’t see this anywhere else.

Maybe growing up was never about leaving the things we loved behind.

Maybe we just found bigger ways to keep that feeling alive.

For a second, we’re kids again. ❤️‍🔥

I asked him what he’d say to someone who doesn’t understand his car.

And this was his answer… no one has to understand your car but you.

This Miata isn’t trying to impress everyone. After spending a couple minutes with @winkbackmx5 I could tell that this car is a clear reflection of its owner😆 his interests and definitely his personality.

To me, when you can look at a car and see someone’s personality through it… that’s what makes a car cool
