POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I had the honour and privilege to dance on behalf of the legendary @glizzi_dance

This is the man who taught me how to dance and how to not just excecute the craft, but live in it. He is hilarious, and called me "homie" from the time I was 10. He sat in his puffer jacket and marvel hat backstage at dance competitions so hilariously out of place among the mini competitive girls in sparkly costumes running around. He waited patiently as I puked before going on stage... like almost every time lol. He came into rehearsals just a tad late sometimes for the sake of a good italian sandwich from the spot across the street. He never fails to make me break a rib laughing and trust me to add my own choreography in his pieces. It makes me feel so proud to now call him my fellow dance teacher and choreographer.

This is a special dance. The first song is Mariano's choreo and the second song is mine. It represents me and the person who taught me how to dance like me.

Thank you @1234dancearts hosted by the iconic @hollywoodjade for having me be there representing this hip hop legend. taken in Bathurst, Toronto by @elvy.dance
